"The ambiance is amazing. It 's everything an Adirondack Great Camp should be. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. The soups were good. Unfortunately most of the positives end there. While my trout was excellent, the basil gel it was served with didn 't work flavor-wise and looked gross on the plate. The vegetables were badly undercooked warm but raw and the wild rice was so undercooked it was granola-crunchy. My partner 's hanger steak was far too tough, too much connective tissue: it was probably a sirloin tip. I 'd recommend coming for a glass of wine at the bar to enjoy the atmosphere, but dine elsewhere."
