"Those of you who read my reviews know that I am allergic to milk. Why, you might ask, is he reviewing a Dairy Queen? The answer is, I went in for a slush drink, simply fruit juice (lots of sugar) and ice. What I found was they have dairy free and gluten free options. There aren 't a lot, but they have some, what I call, fake ice cream bars in the freezer case. I had something similar to a Klondike Bar fake ice cream dipped in dark chocolate on a stick. You know what? I was good. We live about two miles from here and, when I 'm at the plaza, I 'll stop in again. In the Northwest Suburbs, we need more dairy free, gluten free options. A few have sprung up over the years, but this one is very easy to get to."
