"I really wanted to like this place, but won’t be returning. On first impression, the decor of the restaurant was nice. The tables were quite cramped though. I like my personal space and definitely didn’t feel it here with waiters squeezing by the table every two seconds. To drink, we had water and a cocktail. The cocktail was the saving grace of the meal and actually quite good though certainly overpriced for this class of restaurants. Water refills were non existent as were any questions about how our food/experience was during the entire evening. We politely didn’t make a scene about our experience, but we weren’t fans... On to the appetizer. We ordered the bread. What we got tasted like cheap stale white bread that was hard and cold along with a piece of butter with some salt on it and some olive oil dipping sauce. One hour later and some apologies for the delay by our waiter (glad they at least acknowledged the delay), our main dishes came out. The spaghetti and meatballs was fairly bland. Meatballs were okay at best and there was almost no sauce on the pasta. The other pasta dish was decent but quite light on the sauce. We considered trying the cannolis and they looked decent at another table, but after spending over an hour in this setting we had had enough. Those around us seemed to be having poor experiences as well. Noted the table by us sharing that one person had finished their meal before anyone else even received their food. The table on the other side of us sent some stuff back. We enjoy dining at non chain restaurants and like to see them do well. We hope the owners take some time to reflect on this feedback and the feedback others have shared... if they don’t I wouldn’t be surprised seeing this establishment closing down do to a lack of repeat business fairly soon."

"After hearing good things about Fiamma for a few years now my wife and I decided to try it out. We recently went on a Friday evening with our young son for an early dinner. We were seated right away and given a choice of whatever table we wanted a small plus. The service was attentive and timely. Not pushy at all but always nearby when we needed something. We got a pizza, (the Spinaci) hotsy totsy shrimp, a salad, and a kids linguini and meatball for our son. Everything was very good to excellent, with the star of the show being the hotsy totsy shrimp. It’s hard to remember them all, but it was probably the best hotsy totsy I’ve ever had. The sauce was outrageous very garlicky and the perfect amount of heat. The shrimp were big and perfectly cooked. I would honestly return for that dish alone. The pizza was very good, with the only slight negative being it was a little heavy and sloppy, to the point that we ate it with a fork and knife. The pizza we ordered had a lot of toppings, and they were not shy with them, but if you want super thin, crispy crust pizza with “no droop” this pizza might not be your favorite. Of course, that was just one pizza from a menu with many offerings, so there may be other styles. A nice little positive was that they served the pizza with a little extra marinara on the side. Every restaurant should do that. The salad was standard, nothing to go crazy about, as was the kids linguini, but my kid certainly seemed to enjoy it. Overall, we had an excellent experience and I absolutely plan on returning. I’d give Fiamma 4.5 stars if I could. Google needs to allow half star increments."
