"After several attempts at getting a pizza delivered from Altamonte Springs pizzerias claiming to have New York style pizza I decided to call this place and I hit pay dirt when they told me they did deliver. Believe it or not it seems to be a problem around here to getting a pizza delivered unless you go with the national chains which all are just okay. Then I read all the reviews about Nick's Pizza and I set my expectations very high. I suppose it really comes down to what your opinion of a New York style pizza is. My opinion of it is a crust that has a special taste to it and it must be thin towards the middle. It also must have plenty of cheese and high quality pepperoni. But the sauce is what makes a New York style pizza different from every other Pizza. There is a certain sweetness to the sauce and you can't taste any garlic in it. If I wanted a garlic sauce I would have ordered one. I'm not big on garlic and I know it has some health benefits and that's fine and dandy but I don't particularly care for it and I don't think it has a place in a New York style pizza. So it's a matter of taste and my taste buds we're not impressed with the overly garlicky sauce. I really wanted to give them a five star review because the service was excellent, the price was rather friendly and the owner must be an independent for me to want to give them a 5 star review. It's not that the pizza was bad; it's just that it was too different from what I know New York style should be. It must be a big hit with a lot of people because it does have lots of five star ratings and for that I salute the specialty of those people and making a pizza with plenty of garlic in its sauce. But it's just not for me. Did I miss order and get a different type of sauce that I should not have? Are there different sauces that Nick has for his pizza including the Grandma's slices? This would be the only way that I would try this pizzeria again. Maybe the owner could address this for me. I salute him but if this is the only sauce he carries I'll pass."

"Great food and even better service! Their catering services can't be matched with custom menus and cocktails created just for your event. It's not just Mexican food, they can make just about anything for any event. Read some of the reviews and it's obvious they posted about the wrong restaurant as this place doesn't even serve or sell those items or are just haters posting malicious reviews."

"So Sad that this Pieology located in Torrance is closed! Best pizza selections Ever! Always very Fresh and Healthy Selections to make your own special pizza. Our family loved this place. The service at counter was excellent and servers were very friendly. A favorite restaurant place for our large family to gather. Can only wish the owners a Bundle of Blessings. We Will miss you terribly!"
