"The food was inedible. I ordered the black pepper seitan lunch special. I have ordered this many times from other Wild Ginger's. There was so much pepper in the sauce, it was almost black. There were three pieces of seitan that were shaved down from the original sized piece so essentially one and a half pieces of seitan cut into slivers and 3 slivers of oyster mushroom. I wiped the sauce off so as to eat. The broccoli and rice were soaked in sauce, had to toss. The spring roll was mushy and the miso was bland. If I closed my eyes, I would think I was drinking salt water. I *rarely* leave reviews and I have never left a bad one but this was really disappointing and a waste of money. NYC has a lot of amazing restaurants and vegan ones at that. Do not waste your money or appetite here."
