"I and my wife are Indian....both very picky....in fact, I am invariably picky.... my daughter (foodie) jokes that I almost never gave a good rating to a restaurant! Gateway to India in Gig Harbor (we live in San Diego) is fabulous. The service is very good... the ambience is good and the food is excellent....very well prepared and presented. We look forward to Gig Harbor visits for Gateway to India. And thank God for a relatively original name....so not on cliché names for Indian restaurants!"

"Large portions. Entree comes with plenty of rice and naan comes with two large pieces. If you like dont like much spice I highly suggest chosing mild as the regular has a kick and it only goes up from there. Personally I love spicy foods and medium is perfect for me."

"The paper sack with my food was wide open. Do you mean this restaurant can't staple the bag closed or taped it up to prevent the door dash drivers from messing with my food??? Also for 40 bucks the portion on door dash is way too small , the Tikka marasala was decent in taste"

"By far the best food I have had near me this food is absolutely so amazing. The chicken tikka is absolutely amazing I personally believe the portion they give you through DoorDash is smaller but the fresh ingredients in aroma and the taste is out of this world"

"The Chicken Makhani was incredible! It surpassed all of my expectations. After seeing rave reviews online, I decided to try this dish (also known as Butter chicken) with Paneer Nan (cheese-stuffed Naan). It was the perfect combination and truly a delicious meal. I'm so glad I took the chance to try it!"
