"We ordered the sisig, lechon, pancit, and fish balls. The balls were like the street food in the PI... Maybe only more noise and some diesel fumes could make it more authentic. The skin on the lechon was perfect. Sisig was a let down, it wasn't crispy. And the service was really slow."

"I am filipina and I have been living in the Unites states for 5 years and that was the first time that I had max in the usa and it was very like home. some things that could be better is to serve the suppe really hot because it was already cold when I got it and tempts to get out all at once instead of one by one, especially if its only small table. I had a reservation around 19 o'clock and they are already out of a few escapes that I really believed so that I was a little disappointed because I drove from Westchester. Apart from that, I had a good experience, service was good. server were attentive."

"I don't usually make reviews for store except if they're very good, or very bad. This store is not bad and not good, but something else. fod here tastes different. bopis tastes like siopao asado and ulalam mixed together. really weird. dinuguan is very sour. maybe mixed with sinigang. Beef kaldereta was good and the fresh lumpia was really good. well same as other fresh lumpia out there. staff we're very nice and helpful. clean area."

"I love filipino food but unfortunately I am very disappointed with over priced Max's Cuisine of the Philippines. I ordered the Filipino Bistek 15) and regular size rice 5) The sauce that was served with their Bistek tasted like grocery brown gravey from the jar, the beef was thick and tough, and had hardley any onions too. It taste nothing like Bistek. I told the waiter my disappointment and I said I should have order their fried chicken since that seems to be their HOT item menu. He apologized but nothing else. I told the cashier my disappointment too and I told her I was going to review them. They also have a very small selection on their menu. I'll just stick with D' Pinoy Joint filipino restaurant, they have very delicious and real filipino cuisine and their prices are so much better."

"was not impressed. it is an oriental boba tea shop with some fingerfoods. they use filtered water. I hope the filter is good enough to get the chlorine and fluoride out. they cut real fruits into the tee. When I first went, they were sold out. I have a $5 mango strawberry black tee without boba."

"This was my first time trying Filipino food. I approached the occasion with minimal expectations and found the service to be friendly and prompt. The meal I selected was based on a picture in the menu. The portion was large and I enjoyed the overall flavor. The only disappointment was the disproportionate ratio of rice noodles to meat. It was heavy on the rice and a little too sparse on the chicken and shrimp."

"The quality of their food is very good. I live nearby, so I tried some of their popular items.Beef bistek- It’s a steak with lemon sauce and probably my favorite dish there. I love the quantity and also taste of the steak.Pork bbq- it’s good and well worth the price.Pancit mix noodles with Chicken and shrimp. Did not like it very much and the shrimp tasted weird.Crispy pata fried pork leg, My least favorite dish, It does not have any particular flavor and had a very bad pork smell. "I ordered party trays yesterday and to my great disappointment, the spaghetti tasted like they used banana ketchup and so bland. The noodles were already pre-mixed in the bland sauce and it’s color was so unappealing. It reminded me of the kind of spaghetti you could buy on the street for 5 pesos in the Philippines when I was in college. Nayong Filipino in America could do way better. The sauce was too stingy. I wish i just ordered from Jollibee or Red Ribbon instead. I have been a customer for 8 years and I have ordered numerous times before and I am a frequent customer for take-out orders. And so far we were satisfied until now. This time my guests did not even eat half of what I ordered. Usually they will be gone at the end of the party. Their pancit Miki Bihon was not even tasty as it used to. Too bland like they are out of ingredients already. Their fried chicken tasted like it was fried in used oil. Truly disappointed. The guests almost never touched the food that was served. Will never order party trays again."
