"The restaurant has a very cute, trendy vibe with an intimate dining room. Btw, parking can be a challenge but if you luck up get a parking spot directly outside the restaurant on Lancaster Avenue, it's free. The ramen...WOW! I had every intention of taking some home but nope...ate every last bit there! As a pescaterian, majority of the ramen dishes had pork broth BUT there was about 3-4 chicken/vegetable/shrimp ramen bowls. Since I had the Vegetable Miso Ramen on my 1st visit (highly recommend! , I tried the Green Curry Ramen and this dish too measured up! There's a full bar and I definitely want to return to try their sushi which I hear is great too. Ishmael was a great server! The only reason I'm giving Ramen Bar a 4 instead of 5 stars is because I asked for a little hot sauce to add to my ramen and the young lady gave me Bakudan which was delish but an additional $3 and didn't even advise beforehand (total pet peeve of mine ! I never heard of an additional charge for hot sauce and even so, generally a condiment charge is only $1-2; $3 is pretty steep. But go figures because if you add shrimp to the Vegetable Miso Ramen it's an additional $7. I guess they don't care about making things reasonable even though the restaurant is located on Drexel's campus. Also it would be nice if Ramen Bar's Happy Hour pricing returned like it had pre-pandemic (the HH menu is still on the restaurant's IG page ."

"I have celiac disease and hardly eat out because of cross- contamination and the fact that most people don’t understand the disease. I mentioned my concerns to the waitress. The manager came out and asked all the right questions. He reassured me that he has other customers who can’t eat gluten as well. He was very informed on what may be inside their sauces, including shrimp paste in case I had a sea food allergy. He assured me they would wash the pan before they made my food and they would be no cross-contamination. I had no negative effects at all. I really felt like they care about their customers. On top of that, the food was DELICIOUS! My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our food. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were large. We loved the presentation of the food too. The bathroom was very clean which tells me that the kitchen is as well. We can’t wait to go back! My only tiny critique was that I didn’t see a need for the television to be on and maybe the lights could be a bit more dim. It was very comfortable however. They had plenty of cushions if you needed them to prop yourself up to the table. A fantastic experience! Try them today! Vegetarian options: You can get everything vegetarian however there is oyster sauce and shrimp sauce in some of their food so ask before you order. Dietary restrictions: I can’t have gluten or soy and they were very accommodating and they made me feel like they were concerned about my food, allergies. Parking: Strip mall Kid-friendliness: I took a 10-year-old there before to have sushi and she loved it. She had a fun time and everybody was very nice to her, including the other customers. Wheelchair accessibility: It’s in a strip mall and a wheelchair would have no problem entering and being seated at a table"

"When I say I love sushi...I love sushi! Atmosphere: very clean and bright. most people get pick up from this spot, not many will sit and eat. Attire: casual, no special attire required. Most people get take out from here so you can probably wear your bikini and a cover up if you really wanted to as Wollaston beach isn 't too far from here. Food: Great sushi at a great price point. They also have many combos to choose from which all come with a nice drink. Many different maki combinations, in my opinion I prefer the simpler rolls as the more extravagant rolls end up all tasting the same after a while...if its not the spicy mayo taste..its eel sauce. But with that being said, the extravagant rolls are just as delicious as the simple rolls. My friends really like the crab ragoons here. I thought it was very sweet from what I normally expect from a crab ragoon , but after my second one in I couldn 't stop eating them either. Location: Right on Hancock street of Quincy surrounded by many other great food spots. Its easy to get through by bus as there is a bus stop right in front of it. But if you 're not a bus type of person like myself, the red line train stop is not too far of a walk. Price: Great price point for the sushi. Everything was very decently priced, but if you really want a bang for your buck , get a combo. They come with three rolls and a drink! Parking: street parking, which is usually easy to find, but on busy days like Saturday or a Friday night you may have a little more trouble. All the streets around it are free parking so even if you have to walk a tad its not bad. As someone that hates looking for parking, its not terrible. Overall: I like this place for a quick and easy sushi lunch or dinner. The sushi was overall fresh and the place looked clean which is a plus. I use to go here a lot for sushi because its a great price point and if youre looking for decently priced sushi then this is your spot."
