"My daughter and I dine here regularly and we sit inside and hear the interactions with customers. I don’t understand the bad reviews. These guys are so neighborhood/ family oriented. Their food is great. They are not using the nasty waxy cheese that most places use. Not to mention their wraps and other food is always yummy and made the right way. I don’t even mind if it takes them a while when they are busy because my food is always delicious and they are friendly and talk to us while we wait. When we go in, we are greeted warmly and served like family and when we order delivery, the drivers are always super nice and the food is always still hot."

"Amazing restaurant with a vast variety of options! I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive selection of chicken and veal dishes, as well as the numerous pasta sauces available. "I typically enjoy the food at this restaurant, but my experience with the gluten-free chicken parm was disappointing. The chicken was extremely thin and overcooked, almost splintering. The sauce on the pasta was watery and running off. It was a shame that we drove all the way from Eatontown for the food. I'm not sure if we'll make that trip again. This used to be my go-to spot for gluten-free Italian food, but after giving it another chance on October 2nd, I was thoroughly disappointed. The pasta was undercooked, the sauce was unappetizing, and the meatballs were rubbery and lacked flavor. The gluten-free garlic bread was simply a toasted hot dog roll for $10. It was a horrible experience and I will not be returning. I recommend anyone in need of gluten-free options to look for another restaurant."

"I love nods. her pizza is fabulous as her fries and philly cheesesteaks. one of the things I love is their “alternate” or creative pizza. they make a chicken finger and French pizza, which is fabulous (and rather fill out) their taco pizza is amazing and they make a cheeseburger pizza from which I dream. the thing that I find so tempting is that they make a wonderful pizza that tastes like a taco or cheeseburger, without simply slapping the basic ingredients on a cake. my family has been there for years and really loves her. we are not regulars where they know our names, but it is this type of place where they would if we were more. great customer service and friendly people."

"This review is a long time coming! We order pastas / pizza from here almost every week since before Covid, and the food and service are consistently stellar. We've been thinking about trying other places, but... think why change a great thing! They care about the quality of food, as well as the people they serve. You know the customers, they are personal and the food is excellent. The ONE time (consider that we have ordered a hundred times) I pointed out that there was a problem, it was immediately corrected and a new order sent out, no questions asked. "Called to place an order for delivery at 5:07 pm and the order never arrived until 6:43 pm! After calling twice to see where the driver was, they said they didn’t know.. when the food finally arrived the delivery driver drove away and was sight seeing!!! The food was good, not the best. The staff was irresponsible by not even calling us to let us know they were lost which we would have been more than happy to help assist with directions. Not a great first ever experience with Johnny Jr’s Pizzeria!"

"This place is great..I can literally walk there they have the best vegan/gluten free pizza you will ever have in your life! If I had to drive hours to come here, I would. I have also recently tried the vegan/gluten free brownie it was so deceptive I would wager money that no one will be able to say that it is not milk or gluten. It was $6 for 1 brownie I thought was extremely high. If it were less, I would definitely get it much more often, but $12 for two is too high for me. At this point, I can make a batch myself... still in a pinch.. overtakes delicious. Come here if you're 1. Love good food, 2. Have food restrictions 3. Want to have the best pizza of your life. (Your BBQ sauce is to die for) They also have many not vegan / gluten free products as well as what they offer is incredible!!! You have to try, you won't be disappointed."
