"I used to be a genuine lover of Polygon Cafe but lately their food has been so mediocre and is no longer worth the price. This is the 3rd time that I’ve ordered the Beef Pad Se Ew and the noodles were overcooked, mushy and bland It literally had no seasoning. I also tried their Shrimp Thai Fried rice and it was just rice fried with a bunch of onions, a few pieces of tomato and shrimp that tasted like it was boiled or came precooked in the bag. Again, no flavor at all. The only thing we ordered that still tasted okay was the Tom Yum soup. I’m not sure what changed but the food sucks now. On another note, we ordered 2 dishes and the soup and no utensils (we requested) or soy sauce was provided for $45 order. Save your money and try somewhere else, it’s not worth it."

"Very energetic, lively and atmospheric. The food was excellent. Some of the best Carnitas I had. I love how it is cooked and served in an individual size cast iron pan embellished with onions below. My friend's short rib echiladas were also very good. The meat was so delicate and tasty and we loved what the pungent taste of the goat's cheese brought to the party. Excellent court. The service could be improved. I understand that many restaurants are still short staff, but do not come to remove our appetizer plates for 20 minutes while waiting for our main dish is a bit too inattentive for me. I also noticed some other tables with empty/dirty plates before them for too long. Apart from this correction problem, I would definitely recommend Cha's!"

"We enjoyed the ambiance and location was right across the street from the Long Center where we were attending the ballet so that was great. We were a few minutes late for our reservation due to traffic and they were happy to accommodate our party of 6. The food was good, not great but good. Our waiter was okay. We debated ordering dessert because of time restraints and our waiter assured us it would take no more than five minutes to get it. Well I’m not sure what his five minutes looks like but it definitely doesn’t look like my five minutes. Thankfully we weren’t late.... I would consider visiting here again if we attend another event in the area. It was nice to be able to carry on a conversation with members of our party and actually hear what they were saying."

"This was our second time at F.I.S.H. We even sat at the same table. The staff is friendly and engaged but not invasive. Although the bar was lively, the noise level was good. Our food was delicious! My husband's whole fish was grilled to perfection with criss-cross markings on the top that created a lovely crust. My fig-apple salad was delicious. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to visiting again."

"Well the food and service were really good but I was disappointed that the entree I had been looking forward to was not available. No problem, I just ordered my next favourite from the menu to find that it came with pesto sauce rate than tomato sauce. Apparently I could have ordered it with tomato but wasn't aware of that until it was too late. "The entire experience started off on the wrong foot as the host coughed multiple times in my face while trying to figure out where to seat us in an empty restaurant. The comedy of errors continued as it took almost 20 minutes for our drinks to be made and delivered to our table. Our dinner order was placed which included an appetizer, and a burger and a soup and salad. All of the food arrived at the same time with the salad being warm, wilted, and brown on the edges and the burger being well done instead of medium rare. At one point the waitress attempted to refill our waters with water that had been sitting in cups on the counter of the beverage station which she poured into a pitcher. Luckily another employee saw the flaw in that decision and obtained an actual pitch of water before refilling our glasses. The waitress failed to inquire as to why none of the food was eaten during our meal and chose to ignore a clearly undesirable experience. Overall the quality of food and dining experience was sub par for a well renowned resort."

"I tried the vegan panini here and it was absolutely amazing like mind blowing yummy but it's the only entree item you can order off the menu! It comes with a small salad and olives with a vinaigrette you could die for. (I think there was one or two vegan side items possibly... Pesto and mushrooms and all sorts of deliciousness on the panini. It's a great portion size but I'd think it was so delicious because of all the oil covering the ingredients haha. My fingers were oily by the end of it but I'd definitely grab it again every so often. I also tried an earl grey boba which was the best boba I've tried in LA so I have really fond memories of this spot. They have mylk substitutes and the flavor was delicious. The desserts look amazing but I just wish there were more vegan options!! It's a beautiful spot and seems constantly busy so I'd call ahead or choose a quiet time to sit and relax outside."

"Such a fun way to end 2019. Came here for dinner on NYE in a group of seven before we went off to a NYE party at 8pm. There was a $75 pre fixe menu with an “amuse” course and appetizer, main dish, and dessert. We ordered some champagne as well although it also came with a complimentary glass. Our waiter Dan was awesome very attentive and polite. He also was helpful in sharing his opinions on the food and swayed half the table to get the prime rib for the entree over the scallops. There weren’t that many other parties in the room but it was a cute vibe; it could be a good date night spot or a birthday dinner hangout. The lamb on polenta on a little spoon was alright, the the Moroccan soup was hot (like temperature wise) but cozy, the prime rib was on point (I really liked the horseradish butter thing on the side, and say okay with the creamed spinach) and the chocolate tart was a decadent way to finish it all off. There is street parking although it’s a couple blocks down from Pershing square so you could park in that garage for $9. There is a large single use bathroom that could accommodate a wheelchair. They do take reservations and have vegetarian and vegan options. Overall it was a nice restaurant with good food and I’m glad that’s my last meal of 2019!"
