"my boyfriend and I were doing a Tahoe day trip and planned on stopping by a bagel place on the way there. we came across river city bagels and I am so glad we did! I got a cheese bagel with salmon lox spread I definitely think that was the softness and yummy tasting bagel I've ever had : the prices were really great as well! I hope to come back one day!!"

"I have been going to all Star Bagel for years. It has been recently sold to Joe the new owner. I went there a few months ago on a Saturday as usual and my order was not done properly. Joe was off that day so I spoke to him Monday. Very nice man and very apologetic. He said not only would he do my order over again for free but gave me three additional weeks for free. What a great offer and what a nice man. Much more than I expected. So I would tell everyone I know to try this place. And if you had any problems in the past and stop going there. Please speak to Joe The owner. I’m sure he will do whatever he can to make it right."

"Love the bagels. Always enjoy a breakfast bagel sandwich on the way to “work.” These days the ordering can be a bit confusing and frustrating. Totally reasonable to allow only one customer inside at a time, under the COVID circumstances, but it leaves all the customers waiting for orders and pickups milling around outside. I think just a sign indicating where to queue while waiting for your turn to enter would clear matters up a lot."

"I had the best gelato...EVER!!! The employees were very friendly and treated me more like family than a customer. I am visiting family and am from Kentucky. The cafe was warm and welcoming. I sure would love to have Jacinda open a cafe near me! I look forward to my next visit...IL Gelato Cafe will be on the top of my list to visit. BTW I had the Lemon (w/basil) and Mango...
