"Although I am not a sushi fan, there is nothing bad that I can say about this restaurant, they definitely earned my 5 star rating! We found parking on the street about a block away... which is free on weekends ... and walked in on a random Saturday night. We were seated promptly in the rear dining area which is pretty open but since we were seated at the wall, it still felt quite private. The interior decor is mostly modern mixed with a bit of historical treasure. You’ll have to check it out to see what I mean! The wait staff was wonderful. So friendly, helpful and efficient. Since I’m new to sushi, they were very patient and helpful to answer any of my questions about the food and menu. There were so many different kinds of sushi and sashimi options to choose from along with other Japanese plates. We ordered an appetizer and chose a few sushi plates to share. I also decided on my own entree in case I didn’t care for the sushi. Beautiful presentation and very tasty dishes! I’m still not a fan of sushi but I did enjoy some of the sushi that I tried. I’ll have to go back again and try some other options, I’m sure that I would end up loving it all eventually! Overall a very enjoyable visit and I would absolutely recommend School to anyone for some authentic Japanese cuisine!"
