"I like the new menu but wish some of the originals were still there. I loved the salmon the way it used to be much better than the new version. I do however love the new soup and the accompanying arugala and sauce with falafal. The veggies were overcooked, that was very dissappointing...though undoubtedly the flavor was there. It just might have been the day and they have always been consistent, I hope this was just a one off."

"Fantastic Persian and Mediterranean cuisine in Del Mar. Beautiful location, cozy seating area, fifty bar all tastefully located in a place in the heart of Del Mar in the south of the 15th. Street done. Your Soltani court was from this world. Perfectly made kebobs, the best steamed Basmati rice you ever had, and brilliant mezahs. The owners were on the wheel and checked for us mg to make sure we had a great experience. Parker Ng could be a challenge during the busy times, but we don't mind the 3 minutes walk in Del Mar"

"We stumbled onto this beautiful casual eatery in a small shopping center. The outdoor seating area is quaint and the inside is decorated very traditionally. It’s so cozy and we were immediately drawn to the vibe. The service was great and we felt very welcomed. The best part was the food. We had the salmon kebob and a combo kebob. Wow. The flavors are incredible. Portions are so big. We will make this a regular place in our rotation."

"Where do I begin? 1. The girl taking orders is also chef and server2. She went with the same gloves to operate iPad to the food 3. She delivered our food with those nasty gloves then turned around opened the door with the gloves, touched the trash can with same gloves and then went to collect more food to deliver 4. We addressed that she should change her gloves. She told us she didn't speak English but had no problem taking our order.5. We were so disgusted at the lack of hygiene but we couldn't return our food because she didn't speak English 6. THEY HAVE AN A! THEY HAVE AN A RATING! HOW?? This place gives me the heebie jeebies it's overpriced the food was not worth the pricing. Find a cleaner Mediterranean place to eat. The salad also wasn't authentic. It had a thick dressing but should be light and lemony. DON'T GO. You're welcome :"

"My friends and I dined there on a Saturday night after making reservations in advance. It was apparent Green Lettuce was not staffed to handle the typical Saturday night crowd. When our appetizers were served we had to wait 10 minutes to get forks and knives to eat them with. Had to wait another 5 minutes to get the napkins. It took 20 minutes to bring a bottle of wine and then we had to ask for the other 2 glasses as they had only brought 2. The lamb kebobs were overcooked. The basic salad which cost $12 only had greens, a couple of slices of cucumber and onion. Add salmon to the salad for an extra $10. The food was overpriced for the quality and service. There were only 2 servers (including the hostess) that had to attend to 12 tables (40-50 people) and had to deal with food and bar service. One of the cooks from the kitchen helped serve the food, often guessing which table had what food. I cannot blame them, but can only blame the owner of Green Lettuce to allow this to happen. I do not recommend this place for weekend evening dining."
