"Food is great if a little pricey. Very nice atmosphere. I will only pay cash though from now on. Two of my credit cards were recently copied or cloned with fraudulent transactions coming in on both cards. These fraudulent transactions came in this past Sunday only. The two banks were quick to reach me and shut them off. The only place I used both cards was the J. Towne Tavern. One of those cards had not been used in seven months prior to the J. Towne Tavern charge. This could be a coincidence but maybe not... Jimmy D. please keep an eagle eye on your staff just in case"

"The food was really good. My friend and I split a meal and they charged $4.00 to split the plate! Are you kidding me! We bought a $38.00 bottle of wine and they are charging us to split our dinner! I could care less about the $4.00, but it is the principal. We will NOT go back because of that! How rediculous!!"

"My husband and I go to ciao for their filet! It is phenomenal. It cannot be beat. The service is amazing. Ask for Bryce! He is incredibly attentive and doesn’t miss a beat. Super friendly and outgoing as well. Our drinks never ran out and he’s one of the few servers there that brings bread before the meal. I know, it’s a small detail but one that stands out to me. Their red wine is DRY! It’s hard to find quality dry reds by the glass. For me, they all have a slight sweet taste to them."

"I was regular at this place. Not here for years. Today I was in the area and decided to have lunch. The Caesar salad was delicious, but my pizza? was terrible. I couldn't even finish it. Friendly staff. Sadly did I win? I wonder if they have new owners. When it was called Little Italy, they had great food back than."

"Upon entering Mario's Ocean Ave, you will be warmly greeted by the friendly and beautiful hostess Kim. Even during busy times, you will be quickly seated and feel comfortable. If there is a wait, you can enjoy delicious drinks from the talented bartender Melissa. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and attentive, with delicious dishes prepared by owner Henry. I highly recommend the calamari and salad made by Anthony. I have tried numerous dishes and have been served by various servers, each providing excellent service. Mario's Ocean Ave truly feels like home, offering great food and wonderful service."

"Staff was wonderful and a gem in LIC. Pizza was very nice. Closer to a Roman style with thin crunchy crust. The steak was perfect and potatoes were delicious. Deserts were fresh especially the tiramisu. Definitely would go back.Food: 5/5"

"Had my son's first birthday here this last weekend and overall was happy with the experience. The service could have been slightly better and more organized as some plates weren't served all around. However, Katie and Meagan were lovely to deal with in planning the party and I was even given the whole upstairs and run of the floor for my party and activities at no extra charge because I was the only party at the time.
