"Salvatore, Anna, and the excellent team at Salvatore's of Elmont created an enjoyable and memorable night for our party of 40 people. The outdoor seating was comfortable and accommodating. The food was served piping hot, which I appreciate, and was delicious; there was a lot more than we could finish and we took home dishes for lunch tomorrow. We can't wait for our next dinner at Salvatore's. Thank you everyone at Salvatore's! 5-Stars!"

"Incompetent, unprofessional, and ridiculously slow staff. Placed an order via GrubHub for 2 slices of pizza around 12:30am. Called around 1am to confirm that they received my order and was told they were “just waiting for it to come out of the oven.” At 1:40 I received a notification from grubhub saying that my order was arriving soon (within 10 mins). At 1:50 I called the restaurant again and was told my order hadn’t even left the restaurant yet and would probably arrive in about 20 minutes. After asking why they confirmed on Grubhub that the order was arriving soon, the man I spoke to proceeded to bark at me that there was only 1 oven in the restaurant and that the order would be here soon. I asked once again why they pushed it through on the grub hub app as if it was on the way already and was told it was intentional “because the driver was almost back and your order was gonna be next”. So not only did my two slices of pizza take 2 hours to arrive (at 2:28am), but the restaurant straight up admitted to cheating the grubhub system to make it seem like their orders were on the way within the given timeframe even though they were not. And to top it all off, when the driver finally arrived I was greeted with “are you the one who was yelling at us?”. He then proceeded to tell me how he ran a red light to get the order to me, as if that somehow negated the fact that my food was an hour late and ice cold"

"AUTION: DELICIOUS Breakfast at any time! Oh, man, I was so happy that we found this cool diner before our hike in Hudson Highland State Park. The brunch we had was delicious, filled and very generous. We had three separate commands: Nutella Banans French toast (aka sky on earth), buttermilk pancakes with eggs and bacon, and an order of the western omelette accompanied by rye roasted and Homefries Everything was made with love, almost perfection! This place is really clean, has friendly waiters, and a cool 1950s Diner Vibe go. We will certainly come back, even if it is only to eat! I wish more places would have this house like Style Diner. Just a head up, the coffee is also amazing! Bring the family and enjoy! Ps: The portions are large."

Ordered large pizza and garlic sauce pasta.pasta sauce didn’t have any consistency- seemed like garlic flavored water. pizza base had gotten completely soggy. I was charged for pasta even though we returned the order. "Had lunch here recently. The food was great, the customer service was also good. Helios was our bartender server. He was patient and gave great recommendations. We ordered the Chilean sea bass with carb-free substitutions (padded Brussels Sprudels). The taste was good. The sauce really did the meal. We also had The Rainbow Salat, Clam Chowder an order of the wings as well as 3 shots and 3 cocktails (it was happy hour! . There were no complaints about the salad, but my companion shaved over the Chowder. The wings were not baked and cooked well, as I like. The food was good, but the portions were not great. After we paid (about $184, Helios said he'd check in on us. Later we decided to order another round of drinks. We realized that we didn't really need the drinks, so we were looking for Helios to cancel the order if the drinks were not yet made. We asked another waitress who could talk to someone. A few minutes later he still returned to answer the question, so we decided to go and let him know how we came by. He seemed to talk to a manager so we could just know and leave him. He gave an explanation, but it wasn't a big deal and we were ready to go. I would still recommend returning for a light meal in the future."

"I'm is coarse a fan of the downtown pub with a brick walls and me classic oldies on the radio so... I especially enjoyed the environment. The only caveat about this restaurant is that they don't open till 4:30 on Friday and Saturdays so keep that in mind when planning your dinner time out... but know it's worth the wait. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly, and although they don't open till 4:30 when the sun is trying to set in the spring and they tried to set us by the window in the blinding setting sun... We ended up at a high-top table near the bar that was comfy and still fairly quiet but also near the central hub of activity. For an appetizer we started with the sausage and cheese dip. It was delish, my husband liked all the meat and cheese and I like the fresh bits of onion and tomato that garnish the center and for me balanced out the richness of the sausage and cheese dip. I got a sweet tea with lemons because I prefer an Arnold Palmer that's not mixed with high fructose corn syrup of fake lemonade... The sweet tea in and of itself was pretty great considering I don't usually enjoy the overly sweet and Southern style sweet teas served in the south... but this was very nicely balanced with the strong bitterness of the black tea against the light sweetness of the sugar. My tea went extremely well with the the great oyster house burger and those perfectly crispy double fried seasoned french fries. I would prefer the burger without the fried onion strings as I think they just added a lot of grease and not a whole lot of flavor. But otherwise having to eat a well done burger due to pregnancy, I found it still perfectly juicy and delicious. My husband got a Seasonal Sam Adams on tap that paired nicely with his fresh raw Blue Point Oysters from Prince Edwards Island. He especially liked the horseradish paired with the oysters. Our waitress Katie excellent, not overly attentive but kept an eye out for when if we needed anything. Overall I would recommend this place and definitely come back another time."

"This is a great restaurant! The ambience is beautiful and the service is excellent! We had dinner at the first night to try them for a possible future wedding party. started with cheese fritters that are balls of cheesy goodness! I had the Petite filet and shrimp and my fiancées had the barbeque shrimps and grits. My fillet was perfectly cooked medium and so delicate and tasteful! The shrimps were butterflied with a super light tempura like batter.can They say YUMM! The sides of carrots, green beans and mushrooms were so brilliant! Dinner was served with the creamiest cheeses I've ever eaten, along with a yeast roll, cornbread and a salad before dinner. Ken's meal was just as delicious with the same sides and grilled shrimps served with the creamy corns! You must try the Raspberry Tea!! We had the Pecan tulip that is wonderful and HUGE! It could have been divided between two people and Ken had the buttermilk walnut cake! Wonderful! We loved it so much that we went to eat there the next day! Baked Crispy Chicken south grilled Mozzarella and covered with a piece of buttermilk Walnut Pie and chocolate midnight cake! Everything was so wonderful! Great service again! We can't say enough good things here! This is our new favorite place in Ocala and we will have our wedding party here!!"

"Ordered meatloaf with red rice and asparagus. Up charge for asparagus, 5 little pieces for an extra charge? Red rice was inedible. Wife had a burger since she’s on a Keto diet. Let’s just say the menu isn’t very welcoming for that diet. The coleslaw had overpowering mayo taste. Tried to switch it to collard greens and that was upcharge too. Tried desert, $6 for half a slice of Oreo cheesecake. Ugh. Overall prices were way too high and food didn’t live up to taste expectations."

"On Valentine's Day, we had reservations at 7pm and arrived on time, but had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. After finally being seated, we waited another 30 minutes for our appetizers and an additional 15 minutes for our entrees. Unfortunately, the kitchen ran out of some food causing our dishes to be served cold and needing to be sent back. Despite the servers being gracious and apologetic, this was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in a while. It's a shame since our past experiences at this restaurant have always been positive."

"The food was excellent, service was outstanding. I brought clients there, who frequent this restaurant often, as I know they really like it. The server called them by name and was excellent in providing recommendations. The hostess called me the morning of the reservation and wanted confirmation of the reservation. "We also tried the Southwest egg rolls, which had a generous portion size suitable for sharing among a few people. They had a delightful southwest flavor kick. The Fiesta wrap was enjoyable as well; I expected the jalapeño wrap to be spicy, but it turned out to be mild—ironically, the egg rolls had more heat than the wrap. The wrap was also easy to share with one other person. The skinny fries that accompanied the wrap were quite tasty. I ordered the margarita pizza, but I wasn't fond of the pesto sauce that came with it. It changed the pizza from what I was expecting in a traditional margarita. I must have overlooked that detail on the menu; it probably mentioned the sauce. Overall, the menu offered a wide variety of options, and the place had a sports bar vibe. The Cucumber Gimlet was fresh and very cucumber-forward, which I enjoyed. The staff were friendly and attentive, making for an overall pleasant experience."
