"The ambiance in the restaurant is great; it's small, quaint and the bartender had a heavy hand (which I appreciated). The food was fine but nothing special. My boyfriend and I made a reservation for 7:30, arrived at 7:29 and were not seated until after 8 o'clock. The bar was full of other diners experiencing a similar wait time for their reservations. We heard the couple next to us say they arrived for their 7:15 reservation and were only being seated after 8 o'clock as well. We had to wait for us both to even have a seat at the bar, and then we had seats for our wait for the table. I would normally give a restaurant experience like this 3 stars, but us having to wait for the reservation was a very big vibe killer. After we were seated, we were visited by the waiter only three or four times. I would have expected a bit more care to our experience after waiting such a long time. If you can get in quickly, it's a fine place. If not, I'd walk up or down the block. You'll find something better."
