"WORST experience. The band was the worst I've ever heard and so loud we had to scream at each other and read lips. I asked twice if the band could turn the speakers down a bit and the waitress was extremely rude. It took over hours to receive our dinners and only of the arrived at the same time. The waitress was awful and rude to boot. The food was also disgusting. I am almost certain it was off. It was a huge waste of almost for two people. We are not talking a fancy restaurant either. Ridiculous! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!"

"I had dinner with my daughter. this was our first time to dinate at 900 degrees, which we found very pleasant. the chicken piccata and the lemon salmon were excellent. service was great as well as special drinks. it was not very busy to be a Thursday night, so the server allowed us to chat and look a cocktail after dinner. beautiful and clean. all in a great time and I will be ready for repetition. the prices were about normal for this day, and the portions were good."

"Volare is always a solid choice for authentic Italian in Chicago. This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we enjoyed our experience dining on the patio this time. Our waiter was prompt and accommodating, as this trip I needed gluten free options. The gluten free pasta bolognese was fantastic, and the portions are huge! Don't forget to get a reservation, as this place will be busy. We will definitely eat here again when in the city."

"Disappointing dinner experience here last night. Warmly greeted by the hostess and seated in the busy pleasant main room. Server appeared promptly and offered to open the wine we brought. For the rest of the meal he was a blank slate, could’ve been a robot as evidenced by even the lack of a smile. Dining companions shared the beet salad which was nicely split for them. Was a bit surprised when we saw on the bill the $2 uncharge for this. The zucchini blossom appetizer was a big fail. The two pieces were completely mismatched in size, were limp and soggy and the cheese they were stuffed with was cold. After a long wait for mains they were a mixed bag. The pastas, lasagna and bolognese, were better than the cioppino and bronzino. The former tasted only of tomato and the fish was overcooked. The bronzino was well portioned but completely ordinary with the sparse sauce piled on one side with not enough to cover the filet. The vegetable sides were well prepared and quite good. Our quest for decent Italian food in Palm Springs continues."

"We ordered the ravioli and spaghetti puttanesca. The dishes were flavorful and decadent. Even the salad, bread, balsamic and olive oil were fresh and high quality. I’ve been looking for vegan Italian cuisine and so glad they now exist! I hope they add more vegan options like lasagna, vegan chicken or eggplant parmigiana."

"We were a party of four dining midweek. We sat outside on the patio which was nice. Service was attentive. Two of the entree’s (veal Marsala and chicken piccata) were very bland. Both sauces were very thick either corn starch or excessive flour used to thicken the sauces. We requested salt for each of those dishes. The other entree we ordered was a sausage, peppers, onion, and mushroom dish which was very good. Pasta was substituted for potatoes. The bar and inside of the restaurant looked very inviting with ambiance. We will give this restaurant another chance but focus on their pasta next time. They need to revisit and improve the veal Marsala and chicken piccata."

"Over all I can say I liked their food, sauce and presentation. Quantity was large and I personally prefer eating small but then that’s just a preference but definitely delicious food. It’s in Great location. It’s a cozy. There are few breweries around this restaurant which makes it better otherwise they serve alcohol too. One of the best thing about this restaurant and of-course all other around in this area is they have this lit up trees at night and it’s so welcoming. These guys also have sit out area I wish it was summer. Service is great. I mean the waitress was nice Italian accent. I may be wrong but I thought food took longer than I would have expected more so because it wasn’t crowded when I was there. There isn’t enough parking right outside the restaurant but there is enough around. I don’t thing anyone will ever drive away because of lack of parking."
