"Delicious ice cream flavors with a large number of gourmet options. They offer samples, so take advantage before trying. Also, I always get the waffle cone, it is one of the best waffle cones I have ever had. The only downside is the cost is pretty high, it is around $5.25 for a single scoop and another $1.50 for a waffle cone."

"Great ice cream. Bought a souvenir cup and ordered a milkshake. They put the milkshake in my cup (after cleaning it) which was perfect since the portion was more than I could eat at once. I placed the cup in the freezer and the milkshake maintained an excellent texture. 10/10 visit. I definitely recommend buying one of their cups if getting a milkshake."

"First of all, when I walked in the place enr smelled amazing. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They have so many different and unique flavors. Their outdoor seating is cozy and functional. They do not use disposable spoons for taste testing. They have a great system in place with tiny, reusable spoons and holes in the wall for you to put them after you're done. I had the strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper. It was phenomenal."

"I have completely forgotten to leave an evaluation, but near seattle and portland I have often had straw salt. this place where I was most. salt straw has always vegan options, and I guess they recognize (or at least they used to, not sure now) vegan januar. the ice is good, but every taste I had was really sweet. I once went with my non-Veg friends and they liked the vegan or non- vegan aromen not so much, until the point that they have ordered nothing. However, I have always liked the aromen I have picked enough to not only buy it, but also eat it!"

"I've been to like 5 different Salt and Straws on the west coast and this one was pretty bad. The line stretched out waaaay into the street and you'd have to wait like 30 minutes for your ice cream. Maybe it's because it's a smaller shop but the whole process took really long with just 2 slow employees. I also got the limited edition beecher's flagship flavor and it barely tasted like ice cream and more just bready. The scoop was also the smallest scoop I've ever gotten at any salt and straw. Maybe next time I'll stick to the classic flavors and... not go to this location haha. Food: 4/10 Service: 4/10 Vibes: 4/10 Value: 4/10"

"I had a mixed experience at Salt and Straw in San Diego initially, but this recent visit was much better. The flavors offered are a nice mix of unique and familiar. Despite a long line on a Wednesday evening, it moved efficiently. I tried the coffee and love nuts flavor, which included chocolate covered pecans, and I really enjoyed it. The option for a kid size portion was an added bonus."

"This was our first time at Salt and Straw and we got the Salted, Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Honey Lavendar and the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies Cream which was vegan. All the flavours were amazing and you can tell that they were made with quality ingredients. We both got a single split scoop which was more than enough the portions are huge. Can't wait to come back and try the other flavours. Definitely recommend!"

"We noticed a long line out the door at this restaurant, so we decided to wait because we assumed it must be worth it. The scent of freshly made waffles wafted out as we approached. The menu offered a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and they even allowed customers to sample before making their final decision (which may explain the long wait). We quickly decided on our order and were extremely impressed by the quality and taste of the ice cream!"
