"I've been twice since moving back to Blue Ridge recently. Both times on a Sunday. The onion rings are great. The mushroom Swiss burger is awesome. I like the hot dogs, but the bun is to big and bready for me. No matter, I'll be back for more burgers and to try other items as well. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Good draft selection as well."

"The staff was very friendly, but the prices were too high. We did not have any alcohol. The charbroiled oysters were not as big or as good quality as what we've had in New Orleans. I also had a Caesar salad with added chicken because there was not enough protein in the oysters. I took some of it home. My friend and I split the bill for this lunch, and my share with tip came out to $60! I rarely spend that much for dinner, let alone lunch, especially without alcohol. In conclusion, it was too expensive for me. I wish them the best, but I will not be returning."

"We have rarely eaten such terrible food. we have not finished our meal, even though we had starved. my cup gumbosuppe was a mud of shrunk hen and such hot paprika I could taste nothing else. the garnel and geese had a soak that tasted like ketchup with extra sugar and was almost as hot as the rubber bear. but the restaurant was almost empty on midday, our waitress was very pleasant, and the beer was cold and good. looks like a place where undergrads could have a good time drinking on Saturday night, but open table is full of places much, much better than eating a place."
