"After leaving the previous restaurant Encore, the manager came with the idea of serving an American interpretation of French bistro style food. There is not really a concept and the execution of each plate is quite poor. Only the octopus was acceptable. However, the choice of wines through the glass is also disappointing. I was honestly expecting a cheerful ambience at The Meatpackers, but it's quite boring then exciting when you disregard the fact that the restaurant was almost empty. There are definitely better places in the meat packing district!"

"the waitress and service was great my friend and i ordered chicken and waffle, the chicken was fried too hard and the waffles were to light, i wll try them again but ,try some of the other menus like fish and grits, which one friend said was good"

"All I can say is yum !! Absolutely try the Thai Shrimp dish. Presentation lovely and flavors exceptional. Also do at least share an order of the spumoni ice cream !! You will not be disappointed."
