"Cholanad is the best kept secret in Chapel Hill. The food is outstanding, service is wonderful, the ambiance is diverse. I have been here with a large group of friends and sat outside, on a first date in a quiet corner, at the bar to watch a game, and with my family of multiple generations. This is my favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill, mostly because of the food. And dedicated parking!"

"We came here for our date night and everything from menu, service and ambience is tastefully planned. We chose the veg tasting menu and this has a wide selection of dishes, with each presented beautifully from the next with exquisite taste. The Spiciness was simply perfect, we were absolutely lost in the experience of each record, with the staff very friendly and polite. You can also adjust the few options in the menu to be vegan that is commendable. We would come back here to try the new menu, we loved our experience here."

"As an Indian from India, I can say that this restaurant sets the standard. The food is impeccable and full of taste. It is not bland, it is not excessively seasoned – and portion sizes are simply perfect. The menu as a whole is extremely creatively full of diversity. A visit will not cover it, we have to come back for more! The service is also beautiful, so attentive, not rushed at all. The same applies to ambience, very beautiful! "I had heard mixed reviews about the freshness of the food at this restaurant in Irving, but decided to give it a try. I ordered the windshield wiper pakora and fish 65 to start, followed by chicken biryani and a dessert. The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was good as well. Overall, it was a great dining experience. The next day, I wanted to go back for some pakora and chai, but unfortunately, they didn't have chai available. My suggestion to them would be to remove items from the menu if they are not being served."

"I like the snacks here. Wonderful taste and reasonably priced. Variety of meats, chicken etc are of very good quality. The only issue with this store is that not all of the items have a price marker. You have to bring the item to billing in order to know the rates. Apart from that this is a very good store with good people managing the same."
