"Mint has recently gone through an ownership change, but they’ve kept the name and the same menu as the previous management. There’s some growing pains, but on the whole, the food is still quite tasty. I think they still need to define (for themselves) what is meant by ‘mild’ vs ‘very hot’. Also, new items like the coconut shrimp need to be refined a bit too much sweet coconut milk can diminish the subtle flavors of the delicate shrimp. Will go back!!"

"Start with the food, because that it what matters. Delicious, full stop. I started with Samosa Chaat thinking it was an appetizer. And maybe it would be for 3 or 4 people but it was a generous portion for one person so I only ate about half. Textures and flavors were terrific, just the right amount of heat. I can see why this is a popular street food. I followed that with Lamb Korma and garlic naan on the side. The gravy on this one was perfect, rich and almost sweet, and probably the best naan I've ever had. Dessert was Carrot Halwa. If you've never tried it this is a must-have dessert. My only complaint? The menus could be larger. I have good eyes but still jad some difficulty reading. I was the only done-in patron but the delivery pickups were nonstop. Service was maybe slow compared to US casual dining places but well worth the wait."

"The majestic chicken, mysore bonda with 2 different Chutneys were delicious and yumm. I can order them again when I'm here. Cut mechi, Lamb biriyani were also good. Mango Lassi was moderately sweet in contrast to other Indian restaurants that give you diabetes in a sip. The waiters can be friendly, wear a smile. The place was busy in a weekend, but the service was fast. I'd say one of the best Indian restaurants in Austin MSA."

"Mediocre food, oddly designed interior, temperature is not regulated well inside, and the buffet is quite overpriced for the quality that is being provided. The location is amazing and they should really revamp the interior and have the servers be more attentive."

"Service Excellent Food Delicious Menu Packed with options We went for the first time and order as much as we could. Wanted to try it all and was not disappointed. We will definitely be back! We have gone back to this place every week and every time we tried something new. Niaz is awesome and helps us decide. Thank you for an excellent service each time."

"I tried the Chili Gobi, requested spicy. It was not crispy, like at all. Nor was it spicy. Bummer on both accounts. It was fine, but I wouldn 't order it again. I wouldn 't be opposed to trying the Gobi Manchurian just to see if it 's any better. Palak Aloo Aloo Saag is one of my favorite dishes, so I was happy to see that they offer a vegan version. I requested it spicy. It was ok. I 've had worse; I 've had much better. It 's missing something... I wouldn 't order it again. Poori was different but ok. Vegetable samosas were delicious. Excellent crispy, flaky samosa and perfectly spiced fillings. The menu is clearly marked with V for all vegan items, and there 's lots from which to choose. They also label for GF, NF, and DF (gluten free, nut free, and dairy free, respectively). I would like to try more vegan items, like the Bhindi Masala and the dosas. So although I would return, based on my experience, I wouldn 't go out of my way to do so."

"Since moving from the northeast, we have tried almost every Indian restaurant in Jacksonville and MAA Kitchen is the best. Everything tastes freshly made, and there are always pleasant surprises. You know its freshly made because the food trickles out piping hot the first 15 minutes after the lucnh buffet opens up. Many times you see the chef carrying out one of the main dishes he just finished. We go for the Sunday lunch buffet as brunch, and there are always a few different dishes that keep it exciting, while the more common dishes are always very well made and reliably yummy. I appreciate that they put signs out for all dishes so you can remember the ones you've liked best."

"This place is absolutely amazing and authentic for many reasons. The owners are warm and friendly. Vikram the owner and the chef Harish were making sure we are happy with the food and the service. I am from southern costal part of India and the food what they serve is prepared with authenticity. Its a real good food and people. Highly recommended"

"I like that they offer a variety of dishes; not just Indian. And I like that it is Indian fusion type of recipes that you can order with your own twist. They offer a few American and Pasta dishes too! I love the sofas there!"

"Reputed and well known Indian place... but recently began to notice the degradation in quality and service. Book an event for 250 people in rasoi iii....went for food tasting in rasoi ii. Excellent service and food tested much better this time. Very friendly people and service has been improved, I guess it was limited due to weekdays and quantity. Still one of the best names for Indian food. Will definitely visit again soon!!"
