"My friend and I were lucky to find a parking spot right in front of Modo Mio Bistro on Avenue Rd. last Friday. We decided to take a chance and have our 32-year reunion lunch there. The food was incredible - the homemade gnocchi, spinach and beet salad, and grilled calamari were all amazing. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service from our waiter, Sam, was exceptional. He was attentive and when my friend asked for tabasco sauce, he recommended their homemade hot sauce which was perfect. Sam was very friendly, even taking our picture and adjusting the umbrella for shade. He even got the owner to come out so we could praise the excellent service. We will definitely be coming back.
