"It’s mid-September and it’s the perfect weather in NYC…not too hot, not too cold..cool. Out for a walk I stumbled across Gottino. Feeling peckish I stopped in and grabbed a table for one in their garden. It was “brunch” time so the menu reflected the time I stopped in but there was enough to pick from that wasn’t all carbs and sweet. Started with picking the libation… perused the wine list and ordered a Nebbiolo. For my entree ordered the asparagus and goat cheese fittata. Everything was great. Quickly seated (they let me pick where) and there wasn’t an ungodly long time between ordering and actually eating. The frittata was just how I liked it. Crispy edges but a firm pillowy center. Perfectly sized and just delicious. I definitely will be back."
