They have a wide variety of nigiri and rolls to choose from, with most nigiri priced at $1.50 and rolls at $4. The quality of the sushi here surpasses that of more expensive places. Specials like the sushi combo (8 pieces of nigiri for $9) and the bento box (3 items of your choice with rice/noodles, miso soup, and salad for $12) are also great deals. The service can be a bit slow at times, as it is hard to grab the server's attention in the small dining room. However, when they do come over, the service is friendly and efficient. Despite its off-the-beaten-path location, Yama Sushi is conveniently close to public transportation, making it easily accessible for diners."
