"As someone who had to host a Chinese banquet style wedding reception last month, I can safely say that I 'm glad I decided to go with Zander 's House. Kirk made wedding planning a much less painful endeavor; he was prompt and professional in his emails and was quick to respond to any issues that arose. I had at least 200 people at my reception (which is on the smaller end of a typical Asian wedding reception , but everyone had an amazing time. My guests all said that the waitstaff was very prompt and courteous; the food was excellent (we had Zander 's House provide my guests with a typical 8 course meal . In fact, some of my guests left, wishing that Zander 's House opened its doors for regular dining. Special shout out to the cilantro beef; I 'm very glad I went with that (per Kirk 's suggestion since it was a MEGA HIT among our guests! On that note, I 'm genuinely glad that Zander 's House only does receptions; I 've been to other Asian wedding receptions where they would have wedding guests eat in the same building as regular patrons. One of the many reasons why I chose Zander 's House was because I wanted to limit the amount of freeloaders that could waltz in, uninvited, from the 'restaurant ' part of the building into the 'wedding reception ' area. And when you provide an open bar for your guests, you bet you want to limit it to ONLY your guests! Which brings me to another point: vendors. Stephen was our bartender, and someone I wholly recommend. He works with Kirk and Zander 's House fairly often, and so that familiarity was *so welcome*. Another special shout-out to Co Kim Trang, one of their recommended vendors. She was our wedding florist and did beautiful work! In short, if you need a wedding reception venue (especially if you 're Asian , then I 'd recommend Zander 's House, hands down. :"

"Nestled in the heart of the city, Hai Ky Vietnamese Restaurant provides a delightful escape into the rich and aromatic world of Vietnamese cuisine. As a seasoned food enthusiast, I couldn 't resist the allure of trying out this restaurant that came highly recommended by friends and online reviews.Upon entering Hai Ky, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting ambiance. The soft lighting, traditional decor, and soothing background music created an authentic and relaxed atmosphere. The friendly staff greeted me with genuine smiles, making me feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest. As a starter, I ordered the classic Vietnamese spring rolls, Goi Cuon. The freshness of the ingredients was evident with every bite. The rice paper wrapped around the tender shrimp, rice vermicelli, fresh herbs, and crunchy vegetables provided a delightful contrast of textures. Dipping them into the accompanying hoisin peanut sauce added a burst of flavors, leaving me craving for more. For the main course, I opted for Pho, Vietnam 's iconic noodle soup. The aroma that wafted from the bowl was divine, and the broth was everything I had hoped for rich, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. The thinly sliced beef melted in my mouth, and the rice noodles had the perfect chewiness. I couldn 't resist the temptation to add fresh bean sprouts, lime, basil, and jalapeños from the side plate, elevating the flavors even further. To complement my meal, I ordered a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee, Ca Phe Sua Da. The smooth and strong coffee combined with sweetened condensed milk and ice, creating a refreshing and caffeinated delight. It was the ideal way to balance the bold flavors of the meal."
