The only real complaint I have is that I ordered $30 worth of food to go I ordered double bacon with pancake literally got zero bacon, my son was really disappointed. When I tried to call 5 minutes before they closed, there was no answer. Would still go back!"

"I would rate this place as just ok based off my 1st visit. We got in early and was seated immediately which was great. However, our food did take a while to come out after we ordered. In their defense, the place was very busy. The pancake is huge but it was very underwhelming. I feel the same about the corned beef hash scramble. It could have used more seasoning and cheese. I would give it another try if I’m near one but not in a huge rush."

"My husband and I are eating here on Thursday night. I had filled the flounder with crab meat. It came with 2 flounders. I also had Pommes. My husband had the cabbage rolls, they were HUGE. Big like a burrito. He also had a baked potato. Our dinners came with soup and salad bar. Everything was well cooked and very well tasted. Our server Susan was excellent. We had to take many leftovers home. We enjoyed our meal at John's Diner."

"The three times we visited this fine family-run restaurant, which we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and the waiting staff. Cartridges eating there were also friendly and committed. "I think I found my new breakfast location. The food was quick to the table, served hot, and never had to worry about seeing an empty bottom in the coffee mug. The first place I have been to in a while that didn't put any salt on the eggs and hash browns. I didn't mind as I was able to salt them to my preference. The biscuits were incredibly soft and delicious."

"While the food was good, it was not over the top as I expected from a $200 meal. The Sea Bass was overpowered by the Chorizo in my dish and there was no lump crab meat in my husband's crab cakes. On the other hand the chocolate souffle for dessert was very good. Service was acceptable, but the place felt cramped. This was our second time here; both times were to celebrate special occasions. Our meals were excellent on our first visit, although the service was horrible. We thought we would give it another try this time around. I am sad to say that we likely will seek another establishment to celebrate in the future."

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The prices on the bill didn't match what was listed on the menu. For example, the cheesesteak was supposed to be $11.99. I hardly touched my meal. If you decide to go, I doubt you'll want to return. Just look at how empty the parking lot is! I ended up spending $40 for what felt like almost nothing."
