"New Moon was known for their thriving no frills a la carte window meat display has been renovated to a dim-sum place setup to-go only. The staff here speak some english, but limited to basic retail interactions only. Front counter steam table is reduced to half of its original size. Rice is cook with a table top rice cooker visible to the public. As far as dim-sum goes, its the normal stuff you would see at a tea house type. What to get here? You get har gow and preserved egg porridge available in two sizes sm $1.75/lg $2.75. I'm a fan of their har gow. Dough wrapping is just right. The fillings are NOT paste here. Instead, they're half dollar coin size peel and deveined whole shrimps. I look for any sign of paste and none was found. And, of course it's cash only."
