"Unfortunately, dinner on Sunday at Barmani's was really sub par. It was the first night of Restaurant Week and it seemed that the staff was just not ready for it. It took at least 20 minutes before there was an offer to take our drink selection. Then, I ordered salad as my appetizer and the marinated chicken dinner. After another lengthy wait, the waiter arrived with our dinners even though the salads had never appeared. We were asked if we still wanted them, but we opted to just get on with dinner and delete the salads from our bill Meanwhile, people at 2 other nearby tables were complaining about the wait and incorrect dinners being brought to their tables. Waiters were scurrying around the dining room. I rarely write a negative review, but this was so disappointing. The marinated chicken was tough, difficult to cut and difficult to chew. I have eaten at this restaurant 4 times prior to this visit, and I was really impressed with both the food and the service. I will consider this one evening to be an aberration and give it another try. I hope that this new entry into Huntington can be successful."
