"After waiting three and a half hours, the only thing I received was a single scoop of ice cream. I had ordered a wedge salad but ended up with something completely different. I requested a ribeye steak cooked medium rare, without any pink, but they topped it with blue cheese. The steak was also supposed to come with grilled garlic, which was missing. My date ordered a steak as well and described it as tasting like it had a chemical flavor, likely from the blue cheese.
To make matters worse, my salad arrived twenty minutes before my date's meal. The service was chaotic—some guests at our table finished their plates before others were even served. The only reason this restaurant might be ranked in the top ten is due to the limited number of choices in Salinas. The following night, I ate at Big Bear, and the meal was far superior. The woman I was with on Friday was embarrassed by the service and food quality, which she had arranged.
Even if I were offered a free, all-you-can-eat meal here, I would decline. One word describes it: pathetic. If I worked there, I would feel ashamed."
