"my excitement to take my wife to eat at bb for months. I heard about it in the wmal radio and couldn't wait. I would read and read their website. the first red flag was when I asked for reservations. the person who answered the phone simply said hello, not answer with the name of the restaurant, so I had to ask to ensure. then I could hardly understand what they said, so I called again when it came closer to the special date. the same thing happened. Thank you, when we arrived, we had reservations, because noone was allowed to feed only when they had stopped. now for a culinary experience. our waiter was new and knew nothing about the bourbons and even told me about the available flights. he also knew nothing about any of the foods because managment and peculiarities do not offer any possibilities for one of the server to try them. obsurd. now to the only positive part of the experience, except the company of my amazing braut of 39 years. eating was amazing. one of the best steaks I've ever had and my wife's cured. the seafood we had with the steak (scallops and lobsters) were also perfectly cooked and were amazing. all that has said, the hard wooden chairs were so uncomfortable and your almost sitting in the round of the people beside you. we had to be lucky to sit next to a Gung-ho-Military guy who thought the F word was manifold. we must have heard it at least 75 times. Thank God it was good to eat. one last thing. eating is too expensive."

"beautiful place with beautiful view of the inner harbour. friendly, professional staff. kayla, the manager, was especially pleasant and delightful. she goes around to make sure everyone takes care of her. she noticed that our table was empty and asked us if someone had taken our order. when we said no, and without asking how long it was, she treated us as an excuse for our choice in the house! we chose the smaller portions of two appetizers instead of the regular part of one. she still has the regular part of the two appetizers! that made us easy and made us feel very pampered. our waitresses were also nice and professional. the two appetizers were oysters rockefeller and fried oysters (here pictured together). so well designed and balanced to enjoy each ingredient. our entrées were the maine lobster roll and the maryland crab cake. both were fantastic. long history short, highly recommended and surprisingly affordable."

"My family and I had Sunday dinner night at Amami. Overall, it was a lovely experience. The interior of the venue combined the elegance Japanese design with its hip Brooklyn flavor. The food was delicious. We had the Yakatori to start, which was grilled to perfection. The sushi/ sashimi for two was beautifully presented with a fresh sampling of a variety of fresh fish and house rolls. Our server Aphen was knowledgeable and thoughtful with his recommendations. The cocktail program presented a Japanese twist on traditional cocktails. Bartenders were warm and friendly. The owner/ chef came over to our table to greet us and see how we were enjoying our meal. You can tell he really cares about the guest experience and his craft. Dessert (my favorite part of every meal) was a perfect way to end with the tempura fried red bean ice cream and cheese cake. From start to finish, it was a great experience."

"From the moment we say goodbye, our dinner was nothing short of amazing! Believe, our server, made sure to inform us about the menus and wines. All proposals were welcomed. The lobster tacos and the cheese basket were delicious! And also the beautiful scallops! But the braided ribs took the front tip! My husband won't stop talking about her! Free champagne for our anniversary was so beautiful! We have already recommended the restaurant to many friends and look forward to returning! "my friends and i tried their all you can eat sushi menu, and got a wide selection of sashimi and rolls. we were here during lunch over the weekend and the restaurant was relatively empty, so can’t say too much regarding the atmosphere but i also didn’t mind even appreciated having ample space and was able to hear my friends speak and properly catch up quite easily. there’s limited street parking available. additionally, for the price, this isn’t bad at all. however, coming from southern california where i typically have access to fresher seafood and even more extensive and flavorful options, the sushi here wasn’t really to my standards (even compared to other all you can eat sushi places in ca . if you’re from or familiar with los angeles, i’d say that the sushi here is similar or on par with sushi from “sushi stop” (to be clear i wasn’t expecting anything fancy anyway . that said, overall i still enjoyed the food i think compared to other sushi spots in the area this is great ayce sushi. staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. would come again to satiate sushi cravings for a reasonable price if i’m away from socal or japan for an extended period of time and was in the area again :"

"Wusssuuuuuuppppppppp My main squeeze and I made a reservation here for Feb 12 (before valentines day) probably about 3 weeks in advance and were able to get a good dinner time of 7:30. Decent yo. We arrived 15 minutes early and had to wait a little bit to be seated. But thats showbiz baby. The whole aesthetic there was pretty sweet. I really liked the pillows around the bench seats and whole friggin vibe ya know? Took my hat off when I walked in gee wiz So we got dinner. But before dinner I was skiing out at white heat all day, crushing the warm day freshies, and we could put the ARRR in starving (tummy was growlin). I was not prepared for the proportions we were about to be served. I've attached the gnocchi we got. I'll note it was literally the best I've ever had. Pillowy, soft, creamy, godly. You're a fool not to try it. If I was close enough to the cook I would've asked the secret is. But I was let down by the proportion. I could've eaten two of these along with my tappas. The tappas we got: brussel sprouts (literally a MUST EAT. SOOOO GUUD), olives (also good but beware of the pits. I just ate them like a man), and the shrimp. Brussel sprouts and olives exceeded expectations, but I wouldn't recommend the shrimp because it comes with three shrimp for 15 and how am I expected to share three shrimp? Doesn't quite fit the tappas definition imo. But aside from that, they were friggin good too! If I could adjust the Google review, I'd give them three due to the prices per portion. Otherwise, everything else was great. The food we got was phenomenal, our service was par for the course, and the music playlist was relevant and good. Good for a date if you make a reservation. "an angry employee almost ruined our dinner. they now have a huge tent on the parking lot and it started to crash when we arrived. we were placed at the rande of the tent and the waterfall that came from the tent hit the table and us. We pulled the table in a foot and almost immediately we were accelerated by a hostess called lisa verbal. she was hectic and talked very quickly that we had to withdraw our table in the rain and if we didn't like it, we could go. "Located on the corner of Wazee St 19th St, connected to The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block. The restaurant is clean and organized with nice decor and bar area.I tried their 'Taco on Frybread ' (Southwestern specialty), accompanied with a Margarita. The taco on Frybread was interesting, tasted good and satisfying but I didn 't love it, maybe because I 'm comparing to the best Mexican tacos I 've had in my hometown of California. "The inviting and creative menu of Hob Knob intrigued us. We were excited to finally dine at the modern, sleek indoor space. The execution of 3 of the 4 entrees at out table left us disappointed. My wife's fish was undercooked. My fish was not fresh tasting. And our friend's pasta sauce was bitter. I would ascribe one bad entrée out of four to bad luck. Three out of four poor entrees raise questions about quality control at Hob Knob."

"This was our second visit to Kozy 's. We enjoyed it our first time, as it 's off the beaten path, nestled in a nice neighborhood, with live piano music cozy atmosphere. Sadly, this evening our server was like a deer in the headlights ....asking us to order, after never bringing us menus as we sat waiting to be acknowledged for about 10 minutes, and unapologetic for her neglect the entire evening. We had a reservation for 4, were seated, (without being given menus) as there were several open tables, and yet our server was MIA pretty much the whole evening. After ordering, during which it was clear the waitress wasn 't adept regarding the menu, other staff delivered our food, and our waitress popped in once or twice to check in, but never refilled our drinks or water, or even poured our wine. We did enjoy the flavorful mushrooms stuffed with steak appetizer, but the ceviche was unremarkable. Entrees: filets were on par scallops were very good. After dinner, we ordered the chocolate mousse, crème broulee, 2 Grand Marnier cordials, which were delivered in snifter glasses, but appeared to be a CLEAR LIQUID, instead of GOLDEN in color. My husband immediately flagged down a different server (as ours was MIA...again) the drinks were taken away to be replaced. Our waitress later appeared claiming that now they were out of Grand Marnier which means they didn 't have enough when we ordered, so they tried to cut it with vodka or something pass it off as Grand Marnier at $10 a pop!!! BEWARE!!! Never have we encountered such dishonesty at a restaurant, and as a result, we will not ever return to this establishment! Shame on you, Kozy 's!!"

"The food and ambience were very nice. The service was very poor. Our waitress had very poor English speaking and comprehension skills which made ordering very difficult. We received our side dish just as we finished our entree. The worst part was receiving a bill for over $100 more than it should have been and that charge has yet to be taken off my credit card account. I do understand the difficulty in getting good help, but this server had no business in a customer facing position. Reflected very poorly on a very nice restaurant."
