"I went there for take out. I ordered two oyster sauce chicken with cake noodles and was quite disappointed. I have heard that some Chinese restaurants used regular noodles and formed it like a square (piece of cake shape) and pass it off as authentic cake noodle. Well this place does that. The noodles was plain noodles not cake and the oyster sauce chicken was not crispy and flavorful. Very little oyster sauce on it. It wa justs brown gravy. I went there one more time for the dinner plate and it was not up to the old Chinese standards. Junk. Oh well, seems like I'll have to go hunting around for a good authentic old fashion Chinese restaurant."

"Located on Kapahulu Avenue visible from the street between Safeway Leonard's Bakery on the East side of the street. My mom likes it here I prefer another restaurant, however there Cake Noodles is very good! Little more on pricey side. The Aunty on the phone has bit CHALLANGE in understanding or hearing so if you make a phone order repeat and confirm prior to hanging up. In the pics is Chicken Mushroom over Cake Noodles Kau Yuk!"

"I had a delish lunch. had the tartaric acid on wonderful roggen bread. Very good. I bought brot to go home. the deserts were amazing that I had the chocolate mousse bar. I think it would be better if the hot dog stand was in the hall where everything else is. it is a little dragged away from everything else and hard to find. the tips are included when they get the bill. it would be nice if the waiter told you. it is stated on the bill, but I bet many people don't see it. I like the concept that they pay the staff well, instead"
