"Amazing STUFFED pizza!!! I've never had anything like the Foccacia Stuffed Pizza! Too bad it was for a limited time only. I went today for Providence Pizza Week and devoured 2 huge pieces for only $5. (The special is buy 1, get 1 free). Each piece has 2 thick, spongy slices of their focaccia bread. In between is spinach, pepperoni and cheese. But what I loved besides the airy focaccia bread is what they put on top. It had a nice tomato sauce and this unbelievable cheese sauce! I had to have one of my pieces with that stuff covered on top. If Luigi's sell these without the discount for $5 a piece, I would still buy them. Without a doubt. Also, the staff and manager were very nice."

"this place was suggested by a friend and now I think he owes me money for this terrible experience. that was terrible. the dining areas were very dirty. the salatable was the driven zone of 42 degrees. the carver disappeared again and again to smoke. my stuffed squid duck was only slightly warm and muddy and tasted frozen. the burger of my wife was overcooked and had branded on the floor of the patty. the other six people we all had had the seafood buffet and none of them also enjoyed the experience. no choice. all covered with engraving or a kind of sauce. we were on many seafood and at $33.00 per head I would expect more than 15 seafood. myrtle beach has captain georges at 28.99 and has over 200 items. All.seafood not covered with serious. they don't waste time or money for this place if they want one. drive to the top of a mountain and carry a snack. the lookout here is not the cost of the deep-cooling value. bauernhof raised.mushy eating."

"The short rib egg roll app was excellent and the service was phenomenal. I had the chicken Marsala that was supposed to come with prosciutto, it arrived riddled with barley cooked Canadian bacon. The chicken was tough and the whole dish was served swimming in Marsala sauce. The aesthetic of the restaurant was excellent but I am sad to say I was very disappointed with my course."

"Basil is our go-to restaurant. The food and cocktails are always delicious, the portions are large, and the service is top-notch. Kelly is amazing and ensures you feel right at home!"

"The chicken parmesan was horrible. The spaghetti noodles were the worst I have ever had.The sauce was even worse... like diced tomatoes just poured over the spaghetti with no seasoning. The bread sticks were hard and tough. Not an enjoyable meal to say the least. I think Zino's can do better!! Had pulled pork BBQ and brisket combo a few weeks earlier and that was good except the fat I got from the brisket. Will not get brisket again. I think Zino's can do much better."

"Wonderful evening experience for a romantic evening for two. Food presentation was exquisite and the appetizer to entree were delicious. Highly recommend. Staff were attentive and you could see they work together as a team , supporting one another which then benefits the customers. Highly recommend any meal at the Grove."

"Service at the restaurant was very good. The hostess was also our server as we were the first and only guests dining from 4 5pm. Lovely setting. Oddly, we were seated by the kitchen service door with staff coming in and out even though there was literally every other table available away from the door where we could have been seated. The Venetian Old Fashioned was very well crafted and I would recommend it. Silverware looked like it was from a school cafeteria; didn’t match, bent prong and covered with water spots. The house salad bagged salad mix with bagged shredded cheddar, cucumber and tomato was not what you would expect at such an establishment. The blue cheese dressing was good but served on the side in a disposable plastic container with a plastic lid. The entree was described as a crusted Florida grouper with pineapple salsa and orzo. There was no orzo to be found and the grouper was a very thin cut with a soggy breadcrumb coating, pineapple salsa and another plastic container with some tartar sauce. Our sides were the southern green beans which were largely mush and the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese which tasted fine but was cold. Finally, we shared a piece of chocolate cake which had a rich flavor though a little dry and hard. I hesitated to post a negative review in that I truly want to see quality local businesses flourish. Sadly, the attempt to be a fine dining experience missed the mark. That being said, they do have a pub and perhaps that is more successful and something I’ll try in the future."

"eating in this restaurant is delicious! it was the second time that we had eaten there and everything was perfectly cooked and was perfectly tasted! make sure they dip the baked mush as starter with a lot of bread. the penne vodka with huh was excellent, limoncello cake, cannolis and peanut butter cake was also incredible! one of the best Italian restaurants where I sat!"

"Undercooked chicken, like pink in color clearly undercooked. Fine, mistakes happen, so we give them a call. The lady who answered put the chef on the phone (maybe also the manager? and the chef proceeded to tell us that he cooked them personally and that there is no way there is anything wrong with them. Well, we still have pink chicken so rather than just refund us, the chef requested we drive back to return the two chicken dishes. The lady in the front silently inspected the chicken and then took off the two chicken dishes from the original tab without a word. There was no apology for giving us the chicken undercooked, nor for questioning our integrity, or for making us return to the store with the dishes so that they may see for themselves. Very disappointed, the undercooked chicken could have simply been an easy mistake and would not have warranted this review if they had just been like “whoops I’m sorry would you like a new one or a refund.” Instead we were told that we were wrong for thinking that the chicken was undercooked and when presented with the evidence, there was no accountability or acknowledgment of fault on their end. The lady in the front was cordial, but that chef single handedly earned this review."

"For our jubilee dinner we chose this JJ, it is somehow a step up from JJ's Bistro de Paris. It's not. It's more a step by. We were warmly welcomed by JJ and continued by an employee we wish as our waiter. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, but obviously was in such a great hurry that he quickly explained the menu options and later forget that we needed more water bread. He wasn't bad, really, just maybe too thin. The ambience was beautiful, the decor charming. And the food was delicious. My Coq au vin was Jacques Pépin's recipe, I was told and it was wonderful. My husband's Bouillabaisse presented two huge scallops and was raised. Our dessert choice, pecan bourbon tart, had too much chocolate for us, but we're so funny."

"The server was great the place is nice has a nice old-school vibe to it who's there for the prime rib it was good The seafood platter I didn't really like that much server was very good and intentive her name was Katie and the manager name was Penny and she was very nice and happy and she helped us with the menu and give us a better idea. The lobster pie was good could use a little bit more filler or more more more stuffing the stuffed mushrooms are great but definitely be coming back here again I want to try other things on the menu I had a lot of good recommendations from my way to waitress also I love the popovers that they give you at the beginning"
