"Not sure where to start with the restaurant as I had someone tell me this was one of their favorite restaurants and I had to try it...last night was the night I tried it. We had 7:00 reservations and walked in to a very quiet restaurant, parking was easy, metered parking and the restaurant was very very quiet. We ordered a Tom Collins and a Mojito, we were told that they couldn't make a Mojito because they didn't have the ingredients and the Tom Collins was eh ok. The garlic bread came out and it not only smelled amazing the flavor was wonderful. For appetizers, we ordered buffalo mozzarella and I've never seen it presented in the manner we received it. The cheese was cold and tasted like something we would get at the market, it was served on chopped lettuce with pickles and 2 roasted cherry tomatoes. We also ordered soft-shelled crab (this was an entree portion but we wanted to try it), I can't put my finger on it but it was very mediocre. We split a caesar salad, but again very bland and we didn't barley eat any of it. For my entree, I ordered the special, veal osso buco with gnocchi and we ordered the filet mignon (sliced). Unfortunately, again it was just ok. And then there is the glass of wine we ordered, per the waiter's suggestion, but neither one of us drank it. I am giving this a 2 star because the waiter was very kind and he tried to make it as spectacular as he could. It was very nice that they brought out a birthday cake for me and sang happy birthday."
