"It's got to be one of the loudest restaurants in Orange County... the brick walls and the small tables make it very intimate and if you're into that type of a atmosphere it is great! I would recommend sitting at the bar... at least you can speak side by side and have a little conversation. But you will want to go here because the food is amazing... everything we tasted was fresh, high-quality, handmade and really delicious. Thinking back on the menu there are at least 12 things that I still have to go back and try. Think more red sauce southern Italian family-style then upscale northern and more refined dining."

"service was terrible yesterday! I know they had a big party on the terrace, but if they don't provide the help in the interior less tables. manager was dismissed and had an apology for the long waiting period, but an hour for a calzone, a lasagne, and a few penne pastas is not good. a few weeks before our departure we had two lasagna that were warm outside and frozen inside. remade by a manager, but no excuse. will not come back with this afterhand in the service."

"Service was awesome and friendly.Food has declined since our last visit.The rolls are about a third the size they once were, and the same price.The pizza was razor thin, honestly not even very filling. Much thinner than in the past, and the same price or more.The salad portion has also shrunk despite the price staying the same.Calzone was very sloppily put together (pepperoni was in a single large wad rather than distributed, same for the ricotta. Quality overall less than in the past.Overall, the prices have stayed the or risen slightly, while portions have shrunk considerably and quality took a hit."

"5 star food with 4 star service. The Antico has insane amounts of pepperoni and the Rustica is excellent. We have tried a dozen articles on the menu and none have disappointed. The free rolls certainly do not hurt. My only complaint is the table service. This place is busy and the servers seem busy, but drinks often go empty and get a check can wait a bit. It's not bad enough to give them a full star, as we occasionally got exceptional service, but the last few times was a miss in this department. The outdoor terrace is dog friendly and we love to bring our Pooch. The staff is always friendly."

"It was our first time visiting this restaurant. It was a very nice surprise. I think we have found our new go-to Italian restaurant in the area. Mallory, our server, was excellent. She knew the menu and had a ready answer for our many newbie questions. The bar drinks were well made and tasty. The food was also excellent. Be sure to come with an appetite. We will be back!"
