"We love this restaurant. The food and the service are always excellent. This time though, even though we had a reservation, we were seated in the back room and the noise level was terrible. We could not hear ourselves or the wait staff. We asked for a table in the main dining room which although crowded was much more quiet. The hostess said we’d need to wait. We pointed out an empty table. She said that was a table for 8 and we were a party of six. We asked if there was a reservation coming in for 8. She said no. We pointed out that the table was only set up for 7 and there really wasn’t room for 8 there. After making us wait for about 20 minutes we were seated at the table we originally requested. Our server was excellent. The food was delicious and plentiful. But one of the couples with us were first time patrons of this restaurant. They were furious and have said they’ll never go back. Unfortunately, the noise and the way we were treated when we asked for a more quiet table was not the way to impress new customers."
