"I love German food, my parents came from southern Germany a region called Bavaria and in fact my father was a cook. I love the Pacific Northwest because we actually have good German restaurants and Urban German is a wonderful surprise that we met yesterday in our search for authentic sauerkraut. The food is phenomenal the location is only beautifully located directly under St. John's bridge near Cathedral Park, a beautiful environment. Family friendly it has a beautiful outdoor terrace or beer garden and inside the walls are covered with memories of a country I love. My husband loves pigshaxen. It is a pig shock and they did such an amazing work the skin was crispy and the meat was delicious it goes through a healing process similar to ham before it is roasted and it is simply amazing and not easy to find it did a beautiful work. I was thrilled to meet, I think the owner who said he was from Berlin, he told me they are making their own sausages that makes me authentic and in fact you can buy sausages to take home there is a small freezer near the front counter. I ordered sausages and pomfrets also known as French fries. I ate every single French fringes it was simply fantastic they were light and airy and crispy and spicy and perfect and just something you need when you are there, I can not wait to try again other menu items because what we ordered was fantastic we also had a crush with a cheese fondue sauce and they have different types of mustard and ketchups on tape. This seems like a great place for young people in the evening I am sure it will be really fun and exciting and during the day you can bring your dog or your children and sit on the deck and enjoy the park after lunch only a wonderful place I can not recommend enough."
