"We had a reservation for two and were seating in the hall right by the bathroom. There were other tables available in the dining room. Not sure why we were put in that location. You can imagine the traffic by our table; not to mention, having to eat by the bathroom. We both ordered the Reuben sandwich. The bread was over toasted; it was very dry and burnt in spots. When you took a bite, it was very crunchy. The dressing was placed on less than 1/2 of one slice of bread. The worst Reuben I've ever had. The waitress only came to us four times in the hour we were there. We have been there in the past; a few years ago and it was good. We wondered why it wasn't busy on a Saturday night. We will definitely not go back."

"This is the best German restaurant that I have come to since I returned from Germany in 2008. There used to be one in Hampton streets, but it is closed and their food was not very authentic. The beer garden was a very attractive restaurant in a very beautiful section of High Street in Portsmouth. Madison was our waitress and the food was delicious and service excellent. I highly recommend it."

"Fun dinner in the middle of tourist town, south myrtle beach. Amazing how they pack them in. A reservation a must, guess that tells you something, Ok, the service and Taylor was exceptional. The whole staff worked together. That said it was mobbed. You could leave the mask at home and be up close and personal with everyone. Music good, food is best of the three German restaurants in the area. Price is fine and good German beer is cold. So drop the phobia, belly and enjoy yourself,"

"we were last night in the city to see the sataang show. awakened on Monday morning in the city with a huge appetit. I was looking for a couple of breakfasts that were too foot to our hotel. and mirror was the one who woke up our interest. happy to say we were thrilled with our lattes, and our breakfast! I have a protein olmlette with mixed green and the Matcha-Latte with mandelmilch! it was lovely! bf got the chai latte, and the poched egg with zilantro and ingwer and pita brot to immerse in the sauce. I tasted it was great and he was very happy with my choice to breakfast! all for good vibes good music good eating! good work!"

"This restaurant experience was terrible. My group of 5 arrived and were seated at a table for 4, and we were required to pay $125 on a credit card. The salad we ordered had a supermarket sticker on one of the pears. Two of our group members left before the third arrived, and then the fourth arrived 10 minutes later. The service was slow and disorganized, with no clear courses before our group members left. The "sticker salad" was not removed from the bill until I requested it. The only decent thing we tried was the broth dives, but they only provided enough broth for 2 people and charged for extra broth. They did offer us free desserts to make up for the unpleasant experience, but overall it was not worth it."

"Restaurant Rating, not hotel. They need to have better signage that the restaurant is now just the bier hall in the back next to the bier garden. Especially something more warming to enter through than a door that states must be 21 after 9pm . Also something better accessible for older folk. I 'm all for German Heritage, I took Herr Koors classes and went to Germany with him but the hall resembles more of a German themed bar than a bier hall. On to the food. Definitely bar food vibes which it 's a bar in the back good job, nailed it. I had the Pool Hall Cheese burger. Don 't get the bier cheese option only, it 's awful without cheese. I had to assemble my burger myself and pour my own cheese on it which does not stay on the burger or have flavor and it made my bun tear apart. If I wanted to eat at a bar I would have stayed in Oldenburg and eaten at the Pub. I have no idea what made them choose this business decision but it was definitely a poor one and doesn 't honor the restaurant known as the Sherman."

"This restaurant is rated very high. We were disappointed give the expectations. The chicken fried steak was excessively breaded but the meat was quite good. The tortilla soup was not great and was served Luke warm until returned to the kitchen. It was creamy style rather than broth style. It is a good place but not worthy of 4.7 of 5."

"The Village Corner has been around forever and personally I LOVE it. Met a couple of high school friends here to catch up on life and we had a wonderful time. Cory was our server and the bartender. He did a fantastic job and didn't try to rush us at all. For starters we had the spinach and artichoke dip and a yummy homemade pretzel. The beer selection was really good and you feel like you are in a Munich Brewhouse. The cocktails were well made and tasty! Dinner was also really good. The schnitzels are authentic and come with spaetzle that is made to perfection. If you are looking for a high class joint with fancy food this is not your place and don't go in expecting that! This is a wonderful family restaurant that reminds you of being in Bavaria! Oh, and don't miss their desserts and bakery. I ate too much but was very happy!!!"
