"Michael’s never disappoints and is as good as ever! Had the classic Stracciatela with peaches and an amazing tuna crudo with soy alioli which were standouts in our meal and finished with Harry’s chocolate chunk cookies and a glass of milk"

"Lovely roof top restaurant at the Proper hotel. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Nash our server attentive and sweet.Really enjoyed our meal. I recommend the ceviche and the rib eye steak, which was huge and my husband and I had to share. The steak was cooked to perfection and dish was moreish.The cauliflower appetizer was deep fried, tasty but would felt a little greasy. Overall we had a lovely date night. I’m glad we chose this place as our last dine in experience before the shut down. I hope this restaurant survives the economic downturn as it’s a welcome edition to Santa Monica dining scene and a lovely place for a date"

"the experience was, as always, very pleasant. tam was the perfect server, attentive, appealing and extremely friendly. eating is delicious, the ambiente enjoyable, and it was a great selection of restaurants."

"Reservation at 7. Waiter came over and took drink orders in reasonable time. Served and took food orders by 7:15. By 8, i tracked him down and asked where food was..he said a cook quit and they were short staffed. This was after i asked, no updates at all. By 8:15 the food came out and was rushed and not great... They bought a free drink and said we could have 50% off next meal. Unfortunately, the service was so poor and food not great, we wont be going back to use the 50% discount. Had been to this place many times over the years, but it has gone downhill."

"we sat for 10 minutes and never had a single person come to our table. we landed and went up because it was so long and the people at the table next to us said they had a terrible experience and had waited 20 minutes to get their scary (which they ended up going to the bar so they could finally pay and go). there were many people who work and it is a small place, so there is really no reason that we should have been totally ignored or why the people beside us should have been. several waiters passed and no one has ever told us a word. Moreover, they had almost no gluten-free options and offered no substitutions, although they say they do online. big problem for our family celiac."
