"I give less stars than I would normally have given that this is the second time now that I have made a special reservation online with notes for special requests and neither granted by them, nor the hostess who claims they had no idea that a request was made? The reservation clearly showed a request when looking back. So still a problem with the host functions in this place. This was reported to the manager several times. Second, the location is nice, but the lighting in the dining area is so dark, it is very hard to read even the menu on these gloomy PNW rainy days. Especially if you are not sitting next to a window as desired."

"Headed to Malt House for a quick happy hour meal. The music was a little loud for my taste but it’s known to be a happy hour hang out spot so I wasn’t too surprised. The happy hour menu was decent. I ended up having a tequila based cocktail (the death trap) for $8 it’s wasn’t very strong but still good. I also tried the buttermilk bites! They were very delicious, well seasoned, crunchy yet tender on the inside. For my main I had the Day Boat Scallops and WOW!! I was blown away. I did not expect such a complex and flavorful meal here but was pleasantly surprised. The scallops were cooked to perfection with a slight saltiness. The peas and carrots were creamy and pores perfectly with the scallops. I will def keep this spot on mains for future happy hour/dinner dates. Two of us spent under $100 here. I’d say it was a good price for what was offered."

"Picked up a carryout order for 5 people around 6PM on 9/10. One person didn't get their drink. One person found no shrimp in their Jambalaya Pasta. Another had no onion on their Tenderloin. My Philly Cheesesteak on the other hand had somethingspecial. While it's nice to get a complimentary wet-wipe with your meal, I would not expect it to be baked into the sandwich.This wasn't the only piece I found and have to wonder what the chewy bits of steak in the first part of the sandwich reallywere."

"She's Happy! I'm Happy!. My girlfriend hasn't had good food at a McMenamins for a while but the pizza may have turned things around. After finishing up some Christmas shopping in Corvallis we discussed where to eat. I don't remember exactly how it came up (I may have mentioned the outstanding apple cider served here. but we settled on this. We took a table upstairs near the pool tables and our server was with us shortly. Almost right away she started rambling off the specials of the night. After a moment viewing the menu we inquired about the soup (spinich artichoke and the BBQ Chicken Pizza. She highly recomended the pizza so we gave it a try along with a cup of soup. We were dissapointed to find out the soup was gone but the pizza was more than made up for it. The sause had a kick and the toppings were plentiful and tasty. I ate all the crust and that is rare for me! More importantly SHE enjoyed it and commented on how good it was. I of course had my cider and a glass of Kris Kringle Ale that I enjoyed but wasn't my favorite brew. All in all this was a good expereince. Our waitress started off a bit flighty but she redeemed herself. The staff worked well together and backed each other up. I have been to a handfull of McMenamins and this one fits in nicely. I'm certian we'll be back."

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic! The menu offers burgers, comfort food, shakes, and even a hangover brunch section that was really enjoyable. I found a hidden gem here. I definitely need to come back for another visit. The seating is limited and a bit dimly lit, but it adds to the cozy and authentic atmosphere. I left with a peanut butter shake that was the highlight of my day."

"I have now enjoyed the atmosphere in the highway restaurant and pub on the Oregon coast in Lincoln City several times. Live music on certain days (we all know how Covid is affected (or infected? everything and great German beer (if so oblique and great German comfort food! I cannot say enough good things about this place!!!! What a jewel! Love it, dear owners, and the opportunity to enjoy the live music, and beer and food that is so comforting when you visit the coast of Oregon. Stop it, all of you!!!!"

"Took my sister for her birthday tonight and it was AWESOME. Our server Lanice was an ANGEL and sooooo nice. Master of Ceremonies Sug was really nice and easy to talk to... we had a GREAT time. Service was fast and super attentive, and the food was EXCELLENT. It was so much fun especially when they came out for The Purge Birthday announcements. We literally have no complaints or disappointments and are already planning on going back! Funny part was we ordered The Blood Bag drink $20, but I figured what the heck... then when it came out, it 's the size of TWO drinks, so $20 is nothing (and tell you what, they go down eeeaaasy). Of note: the Chucky Rolls are phenomenal and every waffle dish was EXCELLENT. Superb, perfect waffles, tasty, unique sauces... Definitely going again!"

"What a rad spot for food and drinks! It was very nice that the patio was open for business. They did a great job at keeping the area heated and we were nothing but cozy for all of happy hour. The truffle fries and pretzels w/ fondue were super tasty! Along with the red wine flight! I also loved that our dog was able to join in in the fun. The service was nothing short of exceptional."

"Meh. We always find we want to enjoy McMenamins more than we actually do. The food and drinks are ok- the only thing I consistently enjoy are the steak bites. The patio at this one is nice. The scooby bites looked overdone and not worth the cost. The sweet potato fries were also a star but no one (there were six of us) liked the truffle sauce fries. The water tasted like dirt and one of our glasses had plastic bits in it so it was undrinkable. On the upside the servers were great."

"Came for lunch just before noon on a Monday… it didn’t seem too busy but waiting to be seated, getting water, getting our order taken, everything took way too long. Then our waitress disappeared and a different server took over and told us they were backed up and the manager was helping out with cooking. I’m sure it didn’t help that a large group that was seated after us got their order in before us. We did get our food about 40 minutes after we arrived, it was fine but not worth the wait. "My wife and I stopped here on a Friday night and they have a very nice, completely shaded outdoor seating area. We wanted to sit out there because we have our 2 small dogs with us, and the server liked to change with fresh cool water from the dog water bowl. They are well occupied as we were helped by two alternating servers. Both were very friendly and attentive and knew the menu well. We ordered the onion rings to begin, and my wife ordered the goddess Salat and Pommes. We should have ordered a small pommes, because the big one was enough for 3 people! The O-rings were delicious, perfect golden brown, and the frits were also; fresh hand punched. Soup of the day was Clam Chowder, which I recommend when I got a bowl, and it was also made house. 4 stars because my wife went to the bathroom, and it was our toilet paper, dirty and very small. Other than that, the food and service was exvellent!"

"The food looked appetizing, but tasted average. The tiki burger lacked enough sauce for flavor, and the smash burger did not live up to its name. The standout dish was the sweet potato fries, which had a perfect crispy exterior and soft interior - a delightful combination of textures and flavors. I didn't try the root beer float, but noticed they use Triple X root beer, so it seems promising. Overall, this restaurant is not terrible and the prices are reasonable. However, if you're looking to indulge, I would recommend trying out Vinyl Tap for a truly delicious experience."
