"Had been there often and it had been much better before. Perhaps it was an off day. We could not eat most of what we ordered. What we brought home, the chow fun was so greasy that it took several paper towels to soak up the oil. The Shanghai dumpling dough was not heated through. Felt like the dumplings were warmed up in the microwave. Staff were never warm and friendly before. But they looked so grumpy that day it was almost funny. The most helpful was a bus boy who seated us and gave us water and what we asked for while the wait staff were either busy or chatting with customers they were familiar with. It was too bad. We had enjoyed many lunches and had a very nice Chinese New Year dinner there before. While service was never welcoming and food not outstanding, it was above average for the price."

"Delicious Chinese food We are so glad that we gave China wok an attempt! We ordered chicken with vegetables, shrimp with vegetables, vegetables lo my and chicken noodle soup. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. So the Chinese food should taste. We loved the fact that they took precautions based on COVID. We appreciate the great service and good food! "It was an icy cold mid January weekday so the restaurant was more available to cater to a big crowd. The food was great. The drinks were good. The staff waited until all 13 guests arrived to seat us together, chair to chair basically. Reservations are unfortunately not taken. It was my birthday and I was allowed to bring the birthday cake. Loved the entertainment and cheer of the atmosphere. Loved the birthday song sung to me by the staff with their adorable little drum and lighted red velvet cake with a big firecracker like candle. They handed out a little tiara which was an appreciated token. My friend has a lethal allergy to shrimp and it was taken cared of very well by the chef. He first cooked the rice, then vegetables, and meats, and seafood at the very end so there was no chance of cross contamination. I bought gift cards in advance and paid $490 including 18% tip for chef and server so you can eyeball a rough amount for your party. Sake is $5 each and soda is $3.50. It’s a great place to party and make memories. I hope you found my review helpful."

"It has been a while since I have been to Baldwin but was in the area scouting for Pizza Hunters App. Customer service was amazing. Positive experience at the counter. Super friendly and helpful. Had the Margarita slice which was very good. This is a big slice with a big crust. Solid on all categories. Not sure the big crust would grade the highest in tournament competition, but it was above average for sure. I will be going back soon to sample other slices for sure."
