"For some unknown reason, we had yet to dine at Del Rio, despite living in the area for decades. That will now change after recently celebrating a quiet birthday dinner here. Wonderful food; Rick, our waiter, was responsive and very personable; the atmosphere is the very essence of a friendly family-owned Italian restaurant. We enjoyed the live music provided by Dave(? , who reminded me musically of the great Bobby Short. A little pricey, but well worth the expense Probably should call ahead for a reservation, though we were lucky on a Tuesday night to just walk in and get immediate seating. This is a wonderful place to take friends and/or family for a relaxed and intimate meal that fulfills all the senses. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options, though we didn't partake of them. Parking: Street parking can be tough to find, though we were successful at a block away on a pleasant weather night. Valet parking is available."
