"My experience tonight was so bad, we won't be coming back. We came in around 4 and were given a lunch menu which we ordered off of. We sat there about 15 minutes before getting our order taken and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. When we got our bill it was $30 higher than expected because we were supposedly in dinner hours. They refused to honor the prices and tried telling us it was because it was a busier time. It wasn't. There were about 4 servers standing around most of the time we were there and it only picked up over an hour after we got there because it took them so long to get our food. The dinner meal came with shrimp, but because we ordered the lunch we didn't get the shrimp. But then we were charged higher prices."

"Big little sushi spot on the main strip of Nutley. This is the only place where I order sushi and have tried every sushi spot nearby, but none is as good as sushi ya. Great price, best quality, super taste. You never get my order wrong and are so friendly on the phone and personally. My friend always gets her teriyaki plates, super value and taste as well. I introduced this place to some friends and they made him a sushi spot."

"I even needed a fork. the food was excellent. my salat was delicious, suppe was good, but the Teriyaki chicken was from this world. service was wonderful and efficient. we were a big group with children and server was a real profi! she was happy, accurate and also worked other tables. highly recommended."

"Absolutely one of the best sushi experiences I had in Sacramento. The fish was so fresh and the rolls did not require any changes. The service was excellent and we got the opportunity to sit outdoors or indoors. The food was fast, but elegant and tasty. Not to say good things.
