"My husband and I arrive decided last minute to dine here on Labor Day. When we arrived the general manager Adam rudely asked if we had a reservation. We said no and extra rudely said “It’s an hour and a half wait. It’s Labor Day you know…” we said no problem and went back to the car. Since we’re almost never in the area, I opened Open Table to see if there was a reservation for later and wouldn’t you know it. There was one in 20 minutes! We drove around and went back to the restaurant at our now reserved time. Adam didn’t even remember us and told us we had to wait for a table to be cleaned. While waiting a father and son pair arrived. Adam asked if they had a reservation which they replied they didn’t and he said is just 2; like my husband and myself, we can seat you. So we were seated at the same time and not given any attitude from Adam. In addition, they received their food before we did. The oxtail, chocolate cake, and bread pudding were amazing! Great Miami Spice deal as well. Too bad Adam was an A hole and ruined the experience. Not sure we will be returning. There are too many fine establishments to beg someone to take our money. By the way, my husband and I are black and the father son duo were white…"
