"Definitely my favorite (not so little) coffee shop in my hometown. Every time I come to Kaldi's I'm filled with nostalgia with memories of my early high school self who would come here to sometimes study but mostly spend time with my friends. Little did I know back then, the coffee is amazing! Coming back now, it's mostly the same layout with a facelift. It's spacious with tables, booths, comfy chairs, and a community working area. I went with one of the holiday specials, the brown sugar and rosemary latte. This was one of the most unique lattes I've ever had! The rosemary is strong, but is balanced nicely by the coffee and brown sugar. If you're into super sweet drinks, this probably isn't for you, but I enjoyed the unusual flavor combinations and creativity. My husband ordered Kaldi's version of a peppermint mocha and really enjoyed it as well. I usually try to grab a slice of gooey butter cake whenever I pay Kaldi's a visit, because it's my FAVORITE from here. I've also tried plenty breakfast/lunch items on the menu and they are all solid. Kaldi's is definitely a busier coffee shop, but it has truly become a staple in Kirkwood and I'll continue to visit whenever I'm in town!"
