"Felt like at home (NYC). Comfortable, friendly service. Interesting menu loved the choices of omelets and breakfast / Brunch tea .. Inventive .. like the Ricotta pancakes with fruit. Nice! Inside, very cozy and warm. Outside the terrace with plenty of heating and even a gas fire pit. Nice fireplace also inside. Maybe expensive in Cincy? I didn't find it anywhere near. Definitely worth what they calculate. Overall a really high-quality place with excellent service. And note many safety precautions in distancing, sanitizer throughout the rest and even a bottle of sanitizer at each table. Good job, guys!"

"Best cinnamon roll I?ve ever gotten out and one of the best breakfasts I?ve had in a long time! The cinnamon roll was HUGE, light, and flaky. It was served warm and every bite was loaded with cinnamon goodness. Normally, when you get a cinnamon roll out, it?s tough as a boot and dry, but that was not the case here! I also had their breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it was delicious! It could stand some aioli or some sauce on it, but it was still exceptionally good and cooked perfectly. Even the breakfast potatoes were great! We?ll definitely be back"

"We came to Middleburg to celebrate my husbands birthday and to have a weekend away for the first time in a few years. We decided to pull out all the stops and treat ourselves to a nice meal. We had heard great reviews of Goodstone and made a reservation. We were early to our reservation, greeted very kindly and taken to our table. The location is beautiful and got there around sunset so it was very nice. Our experience started to go south when we got our water. We asked how the water attendant was and she said “I am not your server” and walked off. We decided to focus on what menu we would do as we had been saving our appetites all day. We had been to a few fine dining experiences in the past so knew to be patient and have some questions for the server as they generally introduce the restaurant and themselves. Our server came and asked us what we were going to drink and since we were waiting to hear more about the experience said we hadn’t gotten there because we were wanting to chose the food. She walked off. Shortly after the sommelier came and answered a few of our questions about the menu and determined he’d come back after our server took our order. 10-15 minutes later our server came back but took the order of the table next to us and didn’t even check in on us. Both of our water glasses were empty and at this point had been there for 20-25 minutes with very little idea of what this experience was, who to talk with, and nothing to enjoy while we wait. We decided to leave the restaurant because we didn’t want to invest more time and money in a poor experience."

"Whatever poor reviews I saw before attending restaurant have been turned around completely. The food was amazing my group had duck, mahi mahi and chicken. When duck ran out, I was offered filet in its place... To be honest, the choose your sauce thing is kinda gimicky since the food was prepared so well you didn 't really need/want the sauce to alter the taste (although spiced up the chicken dish) but was an interesting experience. Drinks were really well made. Service was available whenever needed (chef even came out to make apologies for shortage of duck) would have expected a less casual waitstaff for the atmosphere, but were friendly regardless."

"Jeff our Waiter and the other Staff provided excellent service! They went out of the way to assure that our needs were met in a timely fashion. The food was good however some servings were dried out from sitting on the warming trays such as the pork tenderloin or some of the stations didn’t have enough serving utensils for each dish displayed which can impact patrons such as myself with food allergies. Otherwise I was pleased with the outcome of treating my guest for a Special Occasion."

"I normally love chophouse but the steak they sent me was awful. I ordered the Delmonico which is supposed to be 14 ounces and while I understand its a ribeye I do think more than MAYBE 4 ounces of it should be steak and not just a mess of fat. Not only that but they sent my food in completely unsealed to-go boxes, they didnt even bother putting it in any kind of bag so there was literally no way to ensure the food hadnt been tampered with and was safe to eat. For almost $100 for one person, I expect better quality. Save yourself the disappointment and order somewhere else."
