"I was for the first time on Friday night. I sat at the bar, I picked up the hot tapas menu. I started with the burgund escargot. I ordered the churrasco steak and gambas shrimp thanks to my excellent marissa server that helps me decide. I also had the roasted brussel sprouts. marissa was so attentive and friendly as well as david and viviana who have worked as a great team at the bar. great food and atmosphere. "This place is truly a neighborhood gem. The food is great and the people friendly. The decor is fairly simple, but that is part of what lends itself to the casual, friendly atmosphere. We love the fact that they actually put REAL crab in their California rolls and not the imitation crab. The gyoza are homemade. This is one of my favorite places to go for casual, reasonably priced sushi and Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend this place for a simple, but good meal."

"I don’t usually leave any bad comments but this place was by far the worst. The service was bad and almost everyone worked there was rude and mad. It took forever to get your order and a lot of food were not what we ordered. They just gave you some sushi rolls with last of rice, so you can stuffed up yourself and get out of there. The manager or owner was very rude too. Yes! We knew it was busy and it was a Friday night. But hey, if you can’t handle the crowds then they shouldn’t be in restaur … – show"

"Food was amazing. We had this place on our to-do list for a weekend getaway, and I'm so glad that we came here. I would say that the food was some of the best we've ever had. I live in a city of 100,000 and Crate beat all of our restaurants. I had Red Snapper, my wife had the lamb, and we shared Sashimi for an appetizer. All of it outstanding. Waitstaff was all very personable and interacted with all of the guests, not just their own specific tables. We felt very comfortable there."
