"I don't know what happened to this place. The buffet used to be so good.... best in downtown SLC. But now it's best medium. I have lunch with some colleagues there for a holiday work. First, the price of the buffet went to $7... whatever happens. But the salad bar had literally salad, shredded carrots, cucumbers and black olives, a few funnels like sunflowers seeds, crumbs and then dressings. But that's it. Not really a salad bar like a side salad. I only had the turkey and tried a BBQ rib. The turkey was good, but the BBQ rib was really good. I'd like it to fall off the bone, but it wasn't tender and hard to eat at all. I just took two bites. The potatoes and the engraving were good, but the stopper / dressing must go! It was so muddy, gay and slimy. It didn't taste good at all. Seriously burn this recipe and start by. They had other meat choices such as Prime Rib, BBQ chicken and salmon. I have not tried these other meat options so that I cannot comment on them, but others did in my party and they said they were good, but nothing to rave. The steamed vegetables and bread rolls were good. The vegtable soup was delicious. They had a very large selection of mini desserts. I tried a few of them, but the chocolate cake was dry, soooo dry, it should have come with a shot of milk. The Eclairs were just not good. Others said the same because I love Eclairs. The mini-creme buffer and the Crem Brule were really good. Our waitress was exceptional and kept our drinks full. Honestly for something over $40 per person (with luck) I expected so much more. Overall, I would give this place 3 stars."
