"Went on a Saturday from a recommendation from a coworker. We got there before the big dinner crowd to avoid it being loud and taking forever. It didn't matter. Service was slow and lousy. The restaurant was not crowded. There were 4 sushi chefs, so it was not them holding things up. We had to ask several times for food that we ordered and never got. The 2 people taking orders were also bussing tables. Finally, it seemed that the manager came out to help, but it was too late.The food was tasty but not great. I think they were trying to get rid of the screaming O sauce because anything that came out with it was drowning in it. It was more like a salad dressing than anything else.Not a place I am looking to go back to. If they can't handle a pre-rush dinner crowd with just OK food, how bad will it be during a regular night with a crowded restaurant and tons of orders coming through."

"It was a great experience!! Went yesterday for my birthday with my family and called ahead of time to make reservation, we got there and waited a few minutes to be seated. After we got seated We waited least 20 minutes for the hibachi chef to come out, he was really entertaining and kept us laughing! He did alot of cool tricks including the onion volcano, I will definitely come back again, the food was great and my family and I enjoyed it."

"Went with my co-workers for lunch and from the start it was bad. I believe it was the owner who asked us to step outside for takeout because there was a person in front of us, then forgot about us to take the order. Which was a red flag but brushed it off and ordered anyway. Then my coworker noticed he overcharged, and said it was the system. He then asked to talk to her and told her the price changed a few months ago but expected her to accept the change when he was the one who gave us the previous menu with the old price. Which then gave her and my other coworker the difference. So, I then checked my receipt, and I saw I was overcharged as well. That's when he got worse with his attitude, telling me if I wanted my money back and the price was different. I was never aggressive towards him and did not like that I was going to be deceived by the overcharge. He was getting in a temper tantrum and my coworker stepped in and said that is not ok. We stepped outside afterward to wait for our food, which he mentioned was a 15-minute wait. During the waiting time, he started yelling in the restaurant, which I know had to do with us. We waited longer than 15 minutes, and my coworker went inside, and our food was sitting at the entrance area. He started getting angry because she was telling him to accept responsibility and to be more respectful toward customers, then started putting his hand on her face, saying ok go. What we should've done is left and got a refund, which we all immediately regretted not doing. For the pricing and food we received, it is not worth it. Service was terrible, and the price deceived the customers, how many more have been deceived and never noticed, please check your receipts and menu prices. I do not recommend going to this establishment, the food was not bad, but for the price, you are better off going to another restaurant."

"Yanagi was my favorite place to go for sushi, been going there for over 10 years and recommended to family and friends. It was the best in town but this last time was a real disappointment which resulted in my Husband and I deciding that we need to find a new sushi place. The quality was awful, smaller rolls and the fish did not seem fresh. This is truly heartbreaking because we loved Yanagi, don’t know what happened. The same exact thing happened to our previous sushi place and it was due to a change in ownership/management that’s when we discovered Yanagi but now he need to find a better place."

"came here for dinner with the boys. Waiting time for 4 was about 20 minutes. We sat in the back terrace. From the moment we went in all, it was nice and welcoming. Great ambience and river to the square. The sushi was fresh and we didn't leave a single sushi on the plate. The sushi was not too big and the portions were good. "Our first time at 3 Go Sushi was a positive experience. The restaurant is located in Escondido, in a small shopping center near Regal 16 Escondido. The customer service was good and the food was enjoyable. The venue seems a bit dated and could use some upkeep. Our orders included tasty Beef Teriyaki bulgogi style, fresh and buttery Salmon Nigiri, squid sticks (not calamari) that were delicious, a messy but flavorful Kraken roll, and good ramen with slightly salty broth."

Big fan of the rolls with eel, as they were fresh and tasty. Pros Regular rolls are very good and you can get a fairly priced meal by adding many regular rolls and sharing. Sushi tastes fresh, even for take out. Cant imagine what it would be like in person! Cons Specialty rolls are good, but not out of this world. Sauces are just generic with sweet teriyaki, and dont have any speciality sauces matching the dishes."
