"I recently had my wedding reception in the Lumberyard banquet hall and veranda and can honestly say that the entire process was perfect from the beginning to the end. I have no complaints at all and have still received Rave reviews from the reception guests who had a fabulous time. We ordered the taco bar and the food was delicious, fresh, and there was still much after serving the 100 participants (I paid 100). In the past, I thought that her food was nothing to write at home, but I ate there recently and enjoyed it and now this experience leads me to believe that the new cook is doing a job. Ashley was our event coordinator and she was super courtesy and so friendly and caring to work with her, really tried to do everything it could be. We had a small snafu with a photo slideshow that we wanted to share on the projector, and she went to great lengths to try to work it and finally to use her personal laptop for the evening, which was a life savior. The signature drink we selected was delicious, I would normally expect drinks from the bar to be expensive and weak, but all the guests they tried said they were delicious and strong, but that they also tasted as if they had not used cheap lie. The event room itself is so funny and eclectic that you really do not need much in the way of decorations to dress it or keep it easy and it will still look great either way. The banquet hall and veranda also allowed the use of the outdoor areas so that guests had plenty of space to sprawl out and enjoy various areas of the event. Everything really seemed to be focused on quality and great customer satisfaction, I could no longer be satisfied with The Lumberyard and will highly recommend it to others."
